Inuko soon fell asleep after she felt the eyes leave her. Ever since the transformation, she could never sleep at night and always dozed off in the middle of the day. As some sort of compensation, she only needed 4 hours of sleep when everybody else needed 8.
Masanori paced his room. It was only a matter of hours before Okuri would be paying another visit. The old man pondered what he might say this time.
“What do you mean you can’t make the ceiling higher?”
“I don’t need any ‘interrogation rooms’, I’ll ask questions where ever the hell I feel like it.”
“Widen those halls. Nobody with a sword like mine could fight in there!”
“What the hell do I need a kitchen for?”
The elderly architect shuddered. Inuko was coming. He knew that Okuri could love no woman. He had thrown away the part of him that allowed true love. But that brother of his…..Kiba……had done no such thing. In fact, Kiba had gone through his belongings, and it appeared he was interested in her.
“Ah, Masanori, there you are. My brother’s waiting for your daughter. Where is she? You said she’d be here.”
His mind twisted with thoughts of what that beast Kiba might do to his precious little Inuko…..but then an even more disturbing thought entered his mind. Inuko wasn’t a little defenseless girl anymore, but almost a full grown woman. She liked men. What if….she liked him?
“Oh come on Dad, he’s no more a bad guy than Daichi!”

What if she loved him, and all the terrible things he did to her? Disturbing images filled his head. She had been transformed by blood from the emperor’s temple, after all. From the pictures he had received, she had become the same sort of……thing….. as the brothers had. They’d have some sort of mystical or biological connection that no one could break or stop from happening. Gods, he’d end up with the Wolf brothers for in-laws!
“Ah, there you are! Kiba and Inuko have disappeared, I think they’re out fooling around again, so it’s back to just you and me………”
“FAAAATHEEEERRRRR!” Masanori dismissed the nightmares he had conceived. Inuko was here, she was safe, and not in the arms of that monster. “It’s Inuko! I’m here! I brought the other Bushin Geisha, just like you asked!” The old man hobbled out to greet his daughter.
