Dragon Falls, Beast Awakens: A Tale of Young Okuri

“Onee San?”

Okuri lazily opened his right eye. Staring at him was a cute little 5 year old boy with red fangs on his face. Kiba. He closed his eye and resumed his dreamless slumber.

“ONEE SAN!” screeched a girly voice. This time, both eyes opened, staring at the perpetrator. “Mom says you need to eat something before you go attempt that suicide training.” Okuri’s little sister squealed before running out of the room. “Oh, and you’re supposed to watch Kiba while I’m at the Abrume’s!”

Okuri stared at Kiba. Kiba stared back. “Shouldn’t Hana have given me some food or something?” Kiba shrugged. “Have you eaten yet?” Kiba shook his head. Okuri rolled his eyes. That little twerp. “Off to Ichiraku, then.”

Kiba jumped up and grabbed 2 coupons from (as Okuri had dubbed it) ‘the emergency food coupon bowl’. Okuri slowly left the nice, warm bed in an attempt to keep up with Kiba, who zipped down the hallways of his home like a greased monkey.
