As she exited the ice skating rink, Karin's brows drew together in frustration and anger. Sasuke was crazy if he thought she'd come crawling back to him! What was his deal? She didn't want to talk to him! Why was he at the pond anyway? She'd been sent there to relax a bit, watch some kids play and make sure the ice was stable enough to use!

Her fists clenched at their sides as she plowed through the snow, her face red from the cold. "He's got some nerve!" She grumbled, pushing up her glasses as she jutted out her lip slightly.

Eyes widening a bit as she sensed familiar chakra, she clenched her jaw. I don't believe this! Is he following me? "This isn't a small village, Sasuke."

"Isn't it a coincidence to meet, then?" His voice was soft, almost as if he was genuinely surprised to see her, but Karin was always suspicious.

"No." She fumed. "I don't even know why you wanted to talk to me. I have NOTHING to say to you."

"Karin..."

The red head didn't even turn to look at him, though her heart ached when he said her name. She almost told him to stop before she realized how silly it would sound. Stop saying my name with that seductive voice of yours? Why would I say that? "If you're going to say something like sorry, I'm not going to listen. It's not like I care, anyway," she said finally, stopping in the middle of the sidewalk, though she still wouldn't look at him.

She didn't want him to speak again, though she could sense it. Why had he chosen today to be talkative, especially to her? "You should apologize to Juugo and Suigetsu anyway. They're the ones who need it."

"That's none of your concern."

Her face suddenly became as red as her hair as she whirled to face him. "You know what, Sasuke, screw you! If you hadn't been so caught up in revenge and shit, we wouldn't be having this conversation! You know what else," she stated, though Sasuke did not move, nor did he make any effort to open his mouth, "I am done with you! Leave me alone. I've done good for myself and I don't need you, you stupid boy." She huffed as if her speech had exhausted her- that HE had exhausted her- and turned around again, walking away as if she'd gotten a giant weight off of her chest.

Once she could no longer sense his chakra, she sighed to herself, leaning against a fence with her elbow. His chakra was... Her scarlet orbs seemed to take in nothing, relaxing as she ran her fingers through her bangs before crossing her arms over her chest. Like it was when I met him.

Karin pursed her lips. She still wasn't buying it. "Hmph."
