Having passed through my middle-school weeaboo phase a bit late fallen out of the anime scene, I've got one of the shorter Countdown lists. Regardless, I've got some pretty rockin' and slightly obscure picks. I'm sure you can guess at least one anime that's making it onto my Countdown, but for others, you may be surprised.
