Today is the first day of my top 10 countdown. So I present to you my choices for #10 and #9.
10. Eien Dake Ga Futari Wo Kakeru (Only Eternity Brings the Two Together)

The reason that I picked this Ending for #10 is because I felt while the song was good, this ending sequence wasn't as good as it could be. Don't get me wrong, I love this ending. What I really like is how well he sings the lyrics. I really liked listening to the full version more however because it showcased Tuxedo Mask's seiyuu's vocals more and he puts so much feeling into the song. I could feel the love that Endymion feels for Serenity.
However as I said, the ending didn't quite fit as well with Sailor Moon Crystal season 3 because for one, Tuxedo Mask isn't really in this season much. I mean he's there but he's more of a background/support character. The only time we get to see him shine is in the last few episodes which to me was kind of disappointing. I really like Mamoru as a character and he is quite awesome as Tuxedo Mask. However this ending didn't quite fit but it was still good.
9. Ichido Dake no Koi Nara

No full version for this one since it is basically featured in the video above. Also couldn't seem to find the original opening animation on Youtube for some reason...
The reason I picked Ichido dake No Koi Nara for #9 is because it is a good song. It was one of those rare openings that grabbed my attention and when I first heard it/saw the opening sequence, I replayed it over and over again.
I've been watching Macross Delta for quite awhile now. I have yet to see an opening sequence that caught my attention as quickly as this one. Granted this isn't the only amazing opening sequence out there but to me it is one of many.
As for the song itself, again I loved it when I fist heard it. Even moreso now because it's full version is compelling, it's TV size version was enough to hook you and get the song stuck in your head. Walkure did an awesome job singing the song. Now I'm hooked on their music because of this song and Macross delta.
