I would have posted yesterday but to be honest a lot was going on and I was busy. So I am FINALLY posting my final 2 picks for this countdown. I have had a lot of fun sharing my top 10 with you guys. I hope to do this again next year.
Without further ado, please enjoy my top opening and ending.

2. Hametsu no Junjou (Pure Heart of Ruin)
Artist: Walkure
Macross Delta (End 2)

No full version available yet

This ending ended up squeezing its way into the #2 spot for many reasons. The visuals of the ending sequence itself are just stellar. The VF (Variable Flyer) flies through amazing CGI space and the different character concept arts set to this amazing song. It is honestly the best ending sequence I've seen yet.

The song itself is fascinating as hell. JUNNA's voice shines singing as Mikumo. She is easily the standout artist in this song. Every time I've hear this song I get chills because her voice is just so amazing. And get this, JUNNA is ONLY 15. She is going to have an incredible career as a voice actress and artist. But about the song itself, it is truly the best song from Macross Delta so far.

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN,THE MOMENT YOU'VE BEEN WAITING FOR IS HERE! THE #1 CHOICE IN MY COUNTDOWN...AND HERE IT IS!

1. Two Souls ~Toward the Truth~
Artist: Fripside
Owari no Seraph: Battle in Nagoya (Op 2)

Full ver.

Somehow this opening squeezed its way into number 1. This opening sequence just stuck with me because it had such an impact with it's stunning visuals and animation. To me, this is THE BEST anime opening I have seen yet. It starts out with an incredible opening shot of Yu and Mika, then moves into more epic character shots. I especially love the shot of Guren and his squad. It's so epic and the shot of Shinoa when she is praying for Yu (at least that's what I assume). A chorus timed to incredible fighting shots of each character. It is just amazing.

As for the song itself, it isn't the type of song I would expect to work with Owari no Seraph as well it does. It just has incredible lyrics and music. Another rare song that managed to have an impact on me. Everytime I hear it I could nostalgic feels from other animes I've watched. So for that reason it is number one to me.
