To Get into the Elite you must be very active in this club constantly contributing. Elitists also get special privileges, if I am thinking of modifying something you will be one of the first ones to know via PM, you will be squad leaders on missions, and you're major quote will be displayed on the intro. Also, Eliters's point numbers are cleared because they have already reached the higher status in the club. Everyone else still have points to rack up in activity.

We'd reached Abyss, and immediately one could sense the overwhelming change in it. Repairs weren't totally complete on the central tower, and without Minx's defensive net it didn't feel as formidable. Tanex was acting as carefree as ever...getting on my nerves at every opportunity. Though as much as I hated to admit it, it felt nice being with him again. Though...as I said...I would never admit it openly...and would deny it outright if ever confronted with it. That would be the last thing an egoist like himself would need to hear. >.>
Upon asking Nyx of her thoughts...she'd responded rather vaguely from what I'd wanted. More importantly...she'd hid exactly what she was thinking from me behind a 'false' smile. The content of her response was also very unlike her...but it was the smile to give it away. I now knew...there was something rather large at work here. I wondered if Nyx herself even realized it... I responded to her, my voice carrying a hint of doubt. I'm sure she caught it...I'd thought perhaps it would coax her into confessing her real troubles...but alas there was no time. We began our trek inside.
Immediately confronted with a resident of the citadel, he acknowledged each of us. He spoke to me as though he 'knew' me, yet it was only through the defeat of his comrade. I was cut off before I could make any smart remarks...probably a good call...we hadn't the time for careless battle. Tanex attempted to convince this "Karonx" to step aside...yet somehow he twisted into becoming a 'guide' of sorts. No one invited him...and I thought it was pretty useless for him to butt in....making his own inside jokes at that. Humph.. I BET Xerebus would LOVE to see me... I thought to myself...quite sarcastically.
Just as they began to walk away...I felt it. The moment that man had appeared before us, my hand had reflexively slid inside my sleeves...clutching gently to the knives safely within. Yet now I was hesitant to retract it. Trying to sense it for sure...I found myself 'zone out' from the current situation.
Yes...that girl from before is very close...the ice user. She's approaching! My mind was screaming...almost making me completely turn and rush after her. I couldn't tell why...but I longed to test myself against another with such a high-concentration of ice.
And then...
“RaXi, they are leaving. Shouldn’t we follo—.” “Come on let’s follow the boy!” Nyx and Tanex both stated, snapping me from my 'moment'. Mainly from Tanex shoving me forward. I quickly shoved him away...pushing the thought from my mind and focusing on the situation at hand.
I scorned Tanex, and he responded cheerfully...as usual. Such a Drama Queen....as though he NEEDED any more Drama in his life... I found myself thinking, snickering a bit to myself. Yet as I thought these things I noticed Nyx once again drifting off into her troubled mind. She seemed to wince at something the closer we got to our destination...and when we arrived...she almost didn't stop walking.
Lightly I grabbed her by the shoulder and halted her. Giving her a questionable look...but not calling attention to it. I waited as Karonx slid inside the doorway. My hand once again finding it's place to the familiar grip of a knife.
So preoccupied was I with just who was waiting for us behind the closed door...I didn't even notice just how drastic Nyx's state was about to become....

Just a brief POV for RaXi. XD You all got me in the mood to write with such awesome posts...so WALA!! LOL Sorry if it's totally pointless.

We stepped out into the laboratory where both Verex and Xirian were still pouring over data. Seeing me enter Verex immediately made a bee-line for the back cupboard. Withdrawing a small leather sack, he returned to our position. He looked down at the girls with that fabled smile of his, the smile that almost never left his face...no matter how grim the condition. And yet, how many times had I caused him to lose it I wonder? Just how much strain...how much misery had I caused this man...
No...Now was not the time for such thinking. I had a mission now, they would be awaiting my arrival. At least, if they knew what was good for them they would be. I swear, if Tanex tried to leave me behind...I would have his head. Figuratively speaking, of course. >:}
Withdrawing two small gourds from the satchel, he passed them down to Xyta and Aidex. A Bright yellow one for the child of light, and a light blue for the child of ice. "These gourds contain an elixir used to restore energy based on your specific element. Now I am a researcher; not to be mistaken for a doctor or healer. Please note the difference, this elixir will not HEAL you...but ONLY restore your energy. Healing must be done by your own will." He explained firmly. "Thank you for bringing them here now RaXi, I've a feeling things are about to get...dicey."
"Indeed." I affirmed. "I am to enter Zero and convince Xerebus to aid us in our war. And so I must ask that you watch the girls while we're gone...tasks have been divided, only you and Xirian will remain here as far as I know." Once more...I caused his smile to fade...into one of a much more serious manner. He looked down at the girls standing before me, then back into my eyes.
"May I speak with you alone?"
Raising an eyebrow, I was curious what had him so upset. "I suppose...but I don't have much time, we are to depart immediately."
"It'll just take a moment." He stated firmly...I could suddenly feel the temperature rising.
"Take it outside! I don't need you HEATING up my laboratory!" Xirian screeched as he nudged his glasses up on his nose, the light shimmering quickly off them.
"Stay here." I ordered the children as we stepped out into the hall. "What is-"
"What is the meaning of this RaXi?!" Verex cut me off, his back to me. "You're going into ZERO....into Abyss! The Labyrinth...and you expect me to stand idly by? To remain behind?!"
"You needn't worry about the Labyrinth, we'll be navigated by not one, but three former members of Zero...." I expounded.
"But still...you're going to confront him. Xerebus. Can you do this with a mind unclouded?!"
"I am not going to stand in the way of this plan. How many times must I explain?!" My voice echoed through the hall. "However. I will NOT allow Nyx to face this alone. No matter what her past may reveal...if he is bound to her...then I will stand beside her and help her face it." My tone seemed to be lowering....as memories of the happy Nyx from my past flashed before my eyes. Killed in an instant by the shattering image of Saix fading away. "I WILL NOT LOSE HER VEREX! And I REFUSE to entrust her to ANYONE else! Even IF they should be former apprentices and close comrades..."
A Look of concern flooded his gentle face as he began to understand just what exactly was going on. My fists were clenched and trembling with rage, my eyes closed as I tried to suppress the annoying emotions that seemed to flow through me. Why! Why did the thought of Nyx being in any sort of danger put me in this STATE?! I stopped trembling and became completely still from the sound of a slight laughter....that seemed to grow and echo in the corridor. Verex was....laughing.... "HOW DA--"
"You know RaXi...you really ARE something different. I don't think I'll ever meet anyone else as complex...or difficult as you can be." He interrupted once more. I was completely silent...I didn't know how to respond to something so...odd. "It makes me wonder...do such thoughts ever cross your mind concerning me...? Ah Well! The point is...you care for every one of them...don't you? You might pretend that you don't...but you really do. It must worry you to see them in danger..."
I really didn't like the sympathetic expression on his face. That patronizing look... "I need no one's pity. As a warrior it is my DUTY to see to the safety of my comrades, that is all." I disregarded.
He snickered once more. "Whatever you say." He paused. "I know you won't let me come...besides you've asked me to look after your apprentices...therefore my hands are tied...however...there's still something I feel you should know."
I analyzed him, as though trying to see just WHAT he was going to said before the words left his mouth...
"Xerebus. No matter what went on between he and I....I get the feeling that he isn't a bad man...perhaps he's just been misunderstood." He stated solemnly.
"Do not make excuses for him. I will not interfere, but forgiveness is beyond me at this point." I discarded flatly.
"I'm not making excuses. It's just...the entire time I served him...I always got the feeling he was...sad. No. I can't even explain it right, that word doesn't do the emotion justice...sad is such an empty word. It was just...and intense feeling of emptiness. As though...as though everything had been stolen from him and he himself became a complete void...does that make sense?" Verex attempted.
"That's only natural...after all...we are nobodies. Nothingness..."
"NO! That's not it!" Verex stammered frustrated. "What he did, the actions he took weren't for nothing. He's searching for something, something lost perhaps. Something that was very dear to him..."
"And so shall we make excuses for Xraktos as well? After all, is he not also seeking to restore his lost lover?" I stated coldly. My eyes were unwavering...a glacier untouched...unfeeling.
Verex sighed. "All I'm trying to convey...is well...I don't want you to judge Xerebus harshly. There's a chance all this was just a huge misunderstanding. If you really care about Nyx...and if Xerebus is part of her past...you will have to take into consideration all circumstances. In this RaXi, you must exercise quite a bit of compassion."
My eyes narrowed and turned to the side. "Great...something I lack significantly...."
Verex's hand pulled up my chin and looked into my eyes. He smiled widely. "You have more compassion than you may think." With that he let go and returned to the laboratory, waving over his shoulder. "You'd better be careful and come back quickly. Don't make me go after you alright? And don't worry about the girls...they're in good hands."
The door closed behind him and I felt myself involuntarily smile. A gentle look not often found on my face...of course I quickly removed it. Opening a portal, I made my way back to the meeting room. Tanex was already gazing straight at me...even before I'd stepped out. Very good... I thought, a somewhat cocky smirk crossing my lips. "Well," I paused. "Are we going to get this show on the road already? Or are we going to stand here and think about it?"
"You were taking so long RaXi...I thought about leaving you here." Tanex joked, a mischievous grin playing across his lips.
My eyebrow raised and I was about to comment back, when Nyx cut in. "That's not true RaXi! We wouldn't have left without you!" She assured me, slightly giggling as she elbowed Tanex in the ribs.
Yes...I would try my very best to protect that smile of hers...I would never let harm come to her...never. I thought silently, deciding not to argue. And yet...something was beginning to bother me. The look in her eyes...a look of deep concern...worry perhaps...though she was trying her best to hide it...it was there...
"Ugh, let's go already..." Marlex sighed stepping through the portal without hesitation. Xeros followed quickly behind.
We followed suit, bringing us once more to stand before the mighty Citadel Abyss. Frankly...I was growing tired of this looming castle...just how many times would I come to its gates. =_=' I looked back at Nyx...she was now gazing up at the Citadel with a more distressing expression...I couldn't keep silent any longer.
"Nyx...what it is it plaguing your mind? Second thoughts?" I asked her calmly...analyzing her face...her every movement for a hint. For anything...

"Perpetual motion, the image won't focus blue is all that's seen,
but here in this moment, like the eye of a storm it all came clear to me..."
I sat in there...keeping quiet as the chattering continued. This was all that was going on...chattering. I had thought if I kept my silence, then things would get moving again...I was painfully wrong. Growing tired of all the drabble I finally stood up in my seat, ready to give orders myself. We would have to put this in action if it was to be carried out. Especially since I was feeling a sense of urgency. Urgency to move on Oblivion.
"LISTEN UP!" I began. "Talking about these matters will do NOTHING. We must take action!" I saw Ximh's head perk up...the fool had been SLEEPING. Though I suppose I couldn't really blame him. Meetings were nothing like battle, yet they were necessary to a point. THIS meeting however had gone on for far too long. "From what is listed on the agenda we will most definitely have to split up and carry out our duties accordingly. I have a general idea on just how to do this. The First Item--A Rescue party for those trapped in Oblivion."
"I don't see the point..." Ximh began
"Then maybe you weren't listening to Tanex. Sleeping perhaps?" I quipped. "STRONG or not...they are still a viable power source for Xraktos's machination. We cannot afford to have HIM trigger it, therefore we must capture his fodder. Do you understand?" Ximh fell silent. "Now, as for just what WE'LL need to obtain in order to power the machine ourselves...I'm sure you were informed before I returned. We've managed to create successful doubles. Perfect substitutes, and also viable power sources. This also helps to cancel out the third order of business....but I would actually like to propose we don't cancel it completely...just it's intentions shall change. Instead of capturing other nobodies for fodder...I propose we recruit them to use in the battle. There is always a need for expendable allies..." At this I smirked somewhat.
Everyone was silent...perhaps still in shock over how I'd suddenly taken charge. Looking to Tanex, I couldn't get over the overwhelmingly large smirk he was wearing. He was enjoying this...as though he'd planned it himself. pfft. I looked from side to side, then continued. "Triskix, You are Second in Command of Oblivion. You were the one to recruit and look after all those now trapped in its dungeon...trapped by YOUR Master...therefore I believe it is YOUR duty to assemble the rescue party and lead them yourself. YOU shall bring salvation to your subordinates. Wouldn't that work well with your 'order' pyro?"
"I-" Triskix began but was cut off by Tanex.
"RaXi makes an interesting point. Plus, it's not like you'll be going alone Triskix...you have your pick of your elite after all, as well as your fellow apprentices. Is there a problem?" Tanex asked, his grin all but gone. Triskix didn't respond. He looked back at me. "Continue RaXi, this is quite entertaining."
I rolled my eyes, but continued nonetheless. "If we ARE to recruit this Xerebus...I have decided I will not do anything to stand in the way of it. But for something like that to come to fruition, action must be taken. A Small party should go and negotiate with him. I do not trust to leave one or two to this, therefore I've already a basic plan. As you stated Tanex, members of Zero would best blend in, therefore it's only obvious that You, Marlex and Xeros should ALL go. Yet this was suggested by Nyx, therefore it has also become HER duty to see it through as well. And because I trust none of you to protect her, I too shall accompany you. Have you an objection to this?"
"Actually, I was more than 100% sure that's how you'd work things out." Tanex giggled and clapped. "Brilliantly executed...though a little late I must say. I thought you would've broken down long before now RaXi."
Rolling my eyes once more I took my seat. Leaning back hard and propping my head up with my arm. I looked to Nyx, a new expression of concern on her face. I had known she would somehow force herself in though...at least this way I'd be going with her to protect her...possibly even from her own past. It was the least I could do to repay her for all she'd done for me in the past. Keeping my secret safe...and not once blaming me....for anything.
"Well there you are. Triskix will head up the rescue party, we shall infiltrate Zero and discuss a truce with Xerebus, leaving all who are left behind to ready themselves for battle. But who should be given the task of recruiting these 'expendable allies' as you so put it RaXi?" Tanex recapped.
Waving my hand in front of me, "It matters not. An Elite, an Apprentice, I care not. Those who remain behind can decide for themselves. But I believe this adjourns the meeting...with our duties given, we should each prepare to depart."
With that, everyone began to rise. Triskix's decisions as well as who would hunt for new recruits could be made outside the meeting hall, therefore, we all began to head our separate ways.
I portaled to the bottom of my chair. "Aidex, Xyta, come with me."
"B-But what about Anamx?" Aidex asked cautiously, looking to the still unconscious boy.
"Don't worry about him...he's in good hands..." I stated looking up to Marlex. I nodded my head and he gave me a slight smile and then I stepped through a portal to the lab; followed closely by the two girls.

hehe, I'll leave it here for now. YES! I did it...I ended the meeting. Happy now ppls?! hahaha...I even divided tasks. >:} I dunno who wants to take the miscellaneous duties left, cuz I didn't know if Lex was going with Tris, or if Xemm, Kyxsha, Rex or Ximh wanted to hunt down the recruits, So I just left that all open. :) Probably wanna split em up. Half go with Tris and the other half go on the hunt. LOL There's also the apprentices that can go too. Well all except Tanex, Marlex, and Xeros that is. XD
