Sorry everyone that this is long over due and just plan long. =_=;; I have another to add to it yet also. //TT_TT//
You don't really have to read this, if you don't want to.
Most of it just leads to Nyx's past and connections to Zero's Leader, and it is long so I understand if many don't. But many thanks to the ones that are interested. ^.^

Once the door closed Karonx continued to lead me. Though I guessed he decided that since the door was shut, temptation to leave was down. So he dropped his hand that was on the small of my back, and continued to lead by walking ahead of me. I couldn’t help but be in awe at the size and architecture, as we walked around the room that was more like a hallway due to the big circler pillar that stood in the middle.
A few pictures lined the walls but most had a yellow tint to them due to age, but everything in this room seemed to give off an old feel to it anyway. It was like every detail was brought out of the ancient geek times. From the stones that made the walls, to the marble floor that seemed to glow when the moon light reflected in though the small windows.
Voices could be heard ahead of us and I guessed we were getting closer to our destination. Soon the circler hallway seemed to fan out more to reveal the back of this room. Chairs and a couple of couches decorated the sides of the walls and in the middle was another door, smaller then the first one but just as elegant.
“Wait here please Nyx. I will be right back.” And with that Karonx disappeared behind the wooden door leaving me alone out here. The moon light shined in from the window across from me, and gradually I walked over to it to sit on the window’s ledge to wait.
The moon was bright in the sky but just like back home the moon here, from what I know of, never sets either. Even though it isn’t the Kingdom Heart’s moon and it is plain, something about it seems even more magical. Yet… who I’m I kidding this castle, at least this whole room, seem like something else. Even… even the people, Xerebus. Leaning my head against the wood frame I closed my eyes and thought thru everything again.
What puzzles me is no one really seems to resent him, everyone that works for him, that I know personally they never spoken a bad word about him. Tanex, Marlex, and Xeros never objected to going back here even though they sort of left his organization. And no one said anything about punishment or anything for them coming back to the castle. And it seemed like Verex didn’t even have much of a problem with letting RaXi go.
He knew who I was when he first saw me; he knew where I came from. Yet he never did anything, he never attacked though I was greatly outnumbered, and never even said anything disrespectful. He is just so hard to figure out, but why do I even want to? All that is going to happen is we are going to ask him about Xraktos, figure out away to stop him then leave, and we will probably never see him again. It’s the truth, but why does that hurt so much?
‘It will come to you soon enough.’
Quickly I opened my eyes to see who the intruder was, but to my surprise when I opened them everything was gone, literally. The chairs were gone; pictures, walls, where I was sitting, now standing, and even the floor vanished without any trace. All there was in this place were never ending openness colored in a mixture of white with wisps of blue in it, the only detail in here was the different shades to mark distance. There were also small black shapes that seemed to appear and disappear almost like they were flowing in a sea.
This place did feel dangerous just oddly calming to me, even though I didn’t really know where I was. Without seeing any door or anything I knew my best bet was to make a portal, but when I threw out my hand to make one nothing happened. After that point it didn’t matter how ‘safe’ this place felt, I was trapped without any other way out and it started to scare me.
‘Do not fret sweet child, I would never do anything to harm you.’
Startled by the voice that I heard before I turned around quickly, ready for anything but by the time it took me to turn around, even though it was fast, all tension and fears seemed to fade away.
In front of me was a woman, she was different then most but very pretty. She had angel wings; three on each side, that starting from her back were a reddish-orange color and seemed to slowly lighten to white at the tips of the wings. Her silver hair that flowed out of the crown on her head was perfect contrast to her darker teal colored skin. The white satin, golden detailed dress she had on flowed out behind her and lightly touched the unknown ground beneath her as she floated closer to me. Just like an angel, just like the angel of my dreams.
‘Hello little one, I apologize for frightening you. It has been a long time sense our last meeting, so I do not blame thee for not remembering.’
‘Remembering? W-what do you mean? Who are you?’
‘I have been known as the High Seraph by many mortals, but you, Nyx, can call me Ultima. It is wonderful to see you again dear.’
‘I… I. Where…’ Taken back by it all I found that I was at a loss for words, and after so many questions that I wanted to ask about.
‘I am sorry for cutting this reunion so short, Nyx, but I am afraid we do not have much time to talk of the past. Yet I can promise that, that is sure to come. You see someone a long time ago asked me keep an eye on a young woman, watch over her and protect her till he finds her. And I have for many years, right up until now.’
She was close enough now that I could make out the sparkle in her eyes, and watched as a gentle and warm smile graced her face as she looked down at me.
‘Child, when you leave here certain things will start running thru your head. Things that you might think are odd or strange but remember that they are nothing to be afraid of… I can promise you that. Those feeling that are carved deep into your soul are also nothing to be scared of. I would never harm you. You know that, do you not? So trust in me.’
‘I—I remember parts of my childhood, a dream of an angel… a guardian angel?’
‘Yes. I have watched and protected you since the day you became of this world… I would never steer you wrong, Nyx. Please keep an open mind on everything that is to come, and I will see you again.’ Right as I was about to cut in asking her why she had to leave, she must have known that I was going to say for she cut me off first.
‘Do not worry, sweet child. Until I see you again, you will be in the best of care by my master.’ Then with those seemingly magical words everything around me started to slowly disappear, fading until Ultima was the very last thing I saw before I was thrown back out of inside my mind.
Head still spinning and semi dazed, still outside of me I heard people talking. Opening my eyes and realizing that I was still in the same place before everything happened. The voices were getting louder so slowly I stood up and waited for the door to open.
“Sorry about the interruption Etxel, but I believe that if you stick around you may find ‘better company’.” Karonx said smiling warmly as he stepped out of the opened the door. I couldn’t help but to notice that his amethyst eyes seemed to be sparkling more than normal, as I watched him shut the door. “Xerebus said you could come in now… well I guess that I shouldn’t say that. Due to I, never really did tell him how many and ‘who’ was here but…” And sometimes that spark in his eyes and that smile seemed to hide the evilness of his ways.
“Hello Nyx. It is nice to see you again, though these circumstances are much more pleasant then our last. May I inquire about RaXi’s well being?”
“Hi, um… she’s okay. Off on her own mission at the moment, but just the same.” I stated smiling to Etxel and couldn’t agree more that this is a much better meeting. Sense our last meeting we were on a battle field, RaXi, Xakiah, and I.
“Nyx, this way please,” and with that Karonx opened the door to the study, guided me in just enough so he could stand inside the room too. Then with a simple statement saying that the negotiation is here, he left quickly and shut the door behind him. Leaving me standing seven feet away from the black desk and the chair, that was facing away from me, which I believed Xerebus was sitting in.
The room was quite dark with the only light coming in from the bay window behind the desk. Not like that was a problem for me, with my power being light. All I had to do was make false sunlight and shine it behind my eyes; so that the light could shine threw into the darkness and bounce back to me to give me an outline of what was there.
“Would you all take a chair please, so that we may begin?” Xerebus spoke from behind the desk, not moving from his place. A knot tied in my throat and I swear I felt my stomach flip a couple of time, but could that be just because of his voice?
Ultima said that there was nothing to be afraid of and though I did promise her. I can’t help but to be slightly afraid of these… things. Everyone said that we don’t have ‘feelings’, but either our souls can still carry them, or it is a lie because not even memories of emotion could hurt this much.
“Al… alright.” I said forcing the words to come out of my mouth as I walked closer to the desk in small steps. Yet I didn’t even cover two feet, when suddenly his chair spun around quickly and his eyes meet my wide ones in the dark of the room. His hands were griped tight to the armrest, and bent enough for if he had to get up fast he could. I couldn’t help but to stumbling back a couple of steps in shock, and I wondered what I said to startle him so.

And as I looked up into those eyes
His vision borrows mine
And I know he's no stranger
For I feel I've held him for all of time
And he said, "Take my hand
Live while you can
Don't you see your dreams right
In the palm of your hand"
