Walking back to the battle arena I let my mind freely stray, to the past. To all the memories back when I first joined the organization. Back when I first meet Demyx and Marluxia, and then when Namine came to the castle and Roxas. Which always seemed to lead me right back to Saix.
For he was the ‘Nobody’, searching for a ‘Somebody’, that found an ‘Nobody’ instead… A small girl was seen curled up in the corner of the deserted street. Tall buildings covered the streets along with broken cars, and an overturned semi blocking one street. Black masses of objects sunk into the floor only to reappear like magick, drawing closer to her but she didn’t move. Her body cold, the common warmth of a real human being lost to her, maybe for--forever. The things drew closer to her, but when they reached her all they did was reject the child. Once again cast aside into the brutal world… alone. The child was always memorized by the one largest skyscraper in the heart of this artificial world, it felt like… a home to the young girl. She quickly and quietly raced across the road to get to her sanctuary. Once the girl reached the skyscraper and crawled to the top of the stairs; she glanced around the area then sneaked into the building. She lied down on the tiles on the floor basking in the light coming from the weird shaped moon above in the seemingly endless night this fake world holds. One day the child vowed to see that moon up close, but to do that you had to go to the top of that mysterious castle. Where those black things hide and cloaked figures travel throughout the Dark city. “Tomorrow,” she muttered to her self. “I have to… tomorrow.” Then the young weakened child feel into a deep sleep, as a sole tear passed between her eyelids. Next morning would come in the ‘Night World’, but the girl would not wa —
Thrown back into the present and stepping back a couple of inches to stopping myself from falling on my butt. I looked around, senses on high alert. Something was up at the battle arena and the something, I felt, didn’t feel friendly. I could feel the familiar spike of energy coming from Lexian and Triskix, as someone just pushed the wrong button on their anger scale.
“I’m truly sorry Xemmsur, but I will have to show you the long way another time. Something… doesn’t feel right. You see I can kinda pick up on energy, and someone else joined the Arena that isn’t too friendly. Do you mind if I cut this short and open a black portal to the watch box?”
I silently hoped RaXi had already felt the odd energy. ‘All the extra training Saix taught us does come in very handy,’ I thought to myself.
