*growls* Oogie Boogie...

I turned to see hot-head and the guy I never hoped to see again in my life-time. I growled, "Oogie Boogie... you manipulative bastard."

I wasn't talking about Oogie and that hot-head, Akane though... Oh, no. I was talking about what happened in my past with that bug-sack. The first time I came to Halloweentown.

I came in Halloweentown through a portal, like I normally did, it was for a mission because Sora was thought to have been there. It was apparent that he wasn't though after I looked around. As I turned to leave, I heard barking. I turned and saw a hovering ghost dog, levitating above the ground and looking over me. The dog's barking also attracted some attention too, because a tall skeleton soon came. "Zero, what are you barking at?" he asked, but then turned and saw me, "Oh, are you a newcomer?"

I blinked. "Well, you could say that..." I replied.

"My name's Jack, welcome to Halloweentown," he greeted, holding his hand out, "Before you are shown around though, can you please tell me your name?"

I figured if I told him my actual name, he'd reject me from here and try and kill me somehow, if Sora did arrive. "I'm Tai," I replied shaking his hand.

"Well, it's very nice to meet you. Right now, I'd give you the tour myself, but I'm a little busy preparing things, so I'll have someone show you around, okay?"

I nodded. "Lock, Shock, Barrel, can you help me out with something?" he called.

Three children and a walking tub... I think it was... came up to Jack. "Yes Jack, what did you call us for?" they asked.

Jack looked over to me. "Tai here needs a tour around Halloweentown."

"A tour you say?" Shock asked.

The Pumpkin king nodded. "Show him around, I'm sure he'd appreciate it."

The three nodded and looked at me. "Come on," they said, moving.

Once we were away from Jack, they looked at me again. "We're taking you to see Oogie Boogie," Lock said in an almost threatening voice.

"Who's Oogie Boogie?" I had to ask.

They stopped. "You don't know the bogeyman?"

I looked at them oddly. "The bogeyman doesn't exist," I replied.

"That's what they want you to think," Lock said, almost laughing as if it was a joke to them.

They led me into a dark room. It was hard to see until the lights were turned on, showing me some gambling machines and some torturing devices. "What have you three brought me?" a somewhat gruff voice asked.

I looked into the voices direction to see a rather large sack monster that could talk. "A newcomer to Halloweentown, Oogie Boogie," the brats said, "Jack said we should give him a tour."

That sack looked like that just amused him and he rolled a pair of red dice. "Well well... So what brings you to Halloweentown?" Oogie asked.

"Business. Looks like I'll have to stay here a while though," I said as he was walking around and looking over me.

He cackled. "Well, you are more than welcome to stay here," he said in a malevolent tone, "... Do you like to gamble?"

"Yes... why does this matter?" I replied.

"Good," he replied, walking off.

I looked at him oddly and stood there. After a few days passed, the troublesome trio, as I came to call Lock, Shock, and Barrel, brought Santa Claus or as they called him "Sandy Claws" to Oogie Boogie. It seemed harmless enough, afterall, it was none of my business. But then Sora showed up later on with Jack. By this point, I had my organization cloak on and had the hood up. -anyway, to make a long story short, after we supposively became "friends," that bogeyman pulled me in front of him and I have a scar on my shoulder from Sora still. After that, I've been a mortal enemy of that guy since.

"Why you are here, I have no clue, why you have the intent to fight, I really could care less, I'm checking on things so leave me be," I said, not glaring at Akane but where Oogie Boogie was.

Please continue?

Yup... a part of his past...
