Burning...my head was burning!!! I was trapped in the abyss of my previously "non-existent" memories. I was transported into my long forgotten past...
"Father! Where are we going?!!" I shouted.
"Yeah Dad! Somewhere good??" A boy beside me yelled along with me. Domix...
"Calm down, calm down. We're going to Mount Olympus." My father laughed. "For the Almighty God's Tournament."
"YEAH!!!" My brother and I shouted in unison.
We weren't very old at all...though....being descended from a God, perhaps it was different. My father was Thor...the thunder God of the Norse People. We'd been invited to attend the Tournament by Zeus himself...knowing how much my father loved to prove his strength. We arrived...but the Tournament was put on hold. There was a Underworld competition going on. Hades insisted EVERYONE attend.
We followed the gathering crowd...and witnessed what could only be described as "mass slaughter". This wasn't a trial of strength...it was a trial of survival. My brother tugged on my sleeve. He pointed to a child sitting beside Hades. A little girl...around our age. "Hey, look at her bro...she's creeping me out." He whispered in my ear.
She was laughing...really... I scowled at her. Then approached my father. "Dad?" I asked. "Who is that girl? Does she think this is entertaining?"
Thor looked at the girl then turned a sorrowful eye to me. "My boy, that is Hade's daughter. She's been raised with all this...it's all she's been taught. Don't think ill of her..." He turned his attention back to the fighters. It was too late though. The moment that smile had crossed her face from the pain of another...I knew I'd never forget it....that face.
I traveled through time...to yet another memory fresh in my mind. My brother and I...good times and bad times...one of the bad times. The worst of times...
We stood on the edge of a cliff. We were thirteen now...but something had happened between us. I couldn't remember it...yet we charged at each other. With swords. We fought and fought...until sundown. Then...it came to an end. We were twins through and through...the same in nearly EVERY aspect. We'd both dealt each other a fatal blow. Though...in the end....we regretted how foolish we were. My brother...Modi...he fell back onto the ground...while I, Magni...cascaded off the cliff. To my death...
"Hey...you there?" A voice woke me.
"Who are you?" I asked hazily. A newly made nobody. "Who am I?"
The face before me smirked. "I see." He spoke. "Your name is Ximh. Don't forget that..." He left me there...disappearing to who knows where.
Along with my memory...my power had been lost. But now that I remembered...everything...I would NEVER be over-powered again. Not so long as the power of the Thunder-god Thor ran through my veins.
I had no heartless...I was simply a Nobody now. I finally understood.
Slowly I opened my eyes. I was in a bed...and...there was a cloth on my head. Looking to my side...Kyxsha was leaned over onto the side of the bed...sound asleep. She was drooling a little...I chuckled as I sat up. She took care of me? I pondered. I suppose I owe her now... But this all didn't make sense. How long was I out? Had they found Nyx?Just how did they escape that hellish Citadel? I needed answers...but then again...I didn't want to speak with anyone just yet. There was much I had to think about. Questions only I could answer... Getting out of bed carefully, I took a blanket and covered Kyxsha up. I then portaled out to the rear of the castle. Sitting alone by the wall...I deliberated everything I'd learned.
