"Why?" Triskix asked us. "What happened?"
"Triskix, RaXi.... Do either of you remember......" I began to say when Lexian cut me off, and secretly, I was glade he did. It was hard to understand everything in the first place yet alone explain it. Between the boy, and the sudden memories of Xemmsur, and that familiar name that kept on popping up, Tanex, I don’t know if I could fully explain everything myself.
“Anamx… I found him in Neverland. I believe, from what Serix said that Anamx is behind our lost memories.” Lexian calmly stated. I could tell from his posture that he was deeply annoyed with himself, that he let Serix escape him.
“It seems that Marlex is the keeper of the child, and when Marlex had to leave to do some business Anamx ran away from his temporary keeper. Serix from what it sounds like, is Xerebus’s loyal puppet.” Lexian finished up casting a worried glance over to Triskix. Even though it seem that they are always at odds with each other, you could tell that the two, even if they would not say it out loud, they were good friends.
“Triskix, your anger is getting ahead of you.” Lexian said almost mockingly, as a smirk played across his face.
“I saw him! Well… I mean… we saw him, Nyx and myself.” Xemmsur call out from behind me. It looked like she was also trying to figure out past memories of the boy too.
“Our mission was slide tracked for a moment. When Xemmsur and I felt a strong rival energy, Xakiah and Lerxia were sent out head of us. Xakiah said that, she had ties with Merlin and could get the book easily and instead of going alone Lerxia said that she would go with her. Xemmsur and I headed in the direction of the powerful energy and that is when we found Ximh and his group battling against the nobodies called, Domix and Maxx.”
‘You would do well to worry about your own affairs. We're just pawns...same as you...if you really want information, ask your leader.’ That sentence played in my head again, especially the world ‘pawns’. I couldn’t help but to wonder if both of our 'leaders' had a secret affair going on, and are just using us. Us ‘pawns,’ waiting to be cast aside like a child’s old play toy, once the two children are done playing with them. It irritated me to no end that people can be so self-involved that they consider everyone around them to be ‘nobody’.
“After that I felt a strong dangerous energy coming from where Lexian was. Only know I figured out that it was Serix. We had to check it out Triskix! Lexian was alone, and you know I don’t like it when you guys get hurt. So we opened a portal and when we did Xemmsur and I saw Anamx run by. With some of our memories slowly returning, like Marlex and now that I found out that Xemmsur was with us ten years ago, that boy was familiar too.” I said, making a note to ask RaXi more about Marlex and if she remembered Xemmsur later. Xemmsur continued on from there.
“But before Nyx and I could catch up with him, a big gust of wind threw us back into a opened portal. That is when we saw Lexian and when he said that the Leader and Xerebus were fighting. We tried opening a portal to take us to the west tower to tell you and RaXi, Triskix!! But…” Xemmsur told Triskix and RaXi, playing with the sleeves of her overly large cloak. Lexian stood up straighter and began to tell the rest.
“Then an unknown blackish void opened below us and swallowed Xemmsur, Nyx and myself into it. I don’t know where it would have lead us exactly if we stayed in it, but I know that it wasn’t anywhere in this castle or a world that we have been in. I’m beginning to think that maybe it lead to somewhere in the other Organization’s castle. Before we could hit the floor though we made a big portal which happened to lead us here.” Lexian finished up the little story line propping his foot against the wall behind him as he leaned on it, waiting for any questions. “So what do you have on your mind, Pyro?”
-----------------------
On one of the highest points of the roof of Castle Oblivion in the darkest corner, concealed by a light fog, a man watched them, taking in their little chats and making a mental note for later. His, unnatural, bright Grey eyes roomed over his old friends, taking in the changes that happened to them over the ten year period that they have been separated from each other.
The damp cool wind picked up and danced across the parts of his hair that fell out of his cloak. Sending the pale pink strands to the front of his face covering some of his vision, before he called the wind off. With a small movement of his hand the wind seemed to die instantly.
His eyes never left the woman he was watching. He could feel something rise inside of him, when he saw the blood on the ground underneath her and how Triskix so causally helped her. In his mind it was suppose to be him to save her, it was always suppose to be him to help her. Even when they were younger, he wanted to be the one… to be the savior. She was always to stubborn though, she thought she could do anything and never get hurt and it burned the man to the core. Burned him even more then Triskix could ever do.
A portal appears on the other side of the tower the man was on, and a voice cut into the raising fog saying something like, ‘time to go.’ This other younger guy chooses not to wear the traditional cloak unlike the rest of them, instead he wears a crimson sweatshirt with the hood pulled up hiding parts of his face, dark brown hair covers another part. With his hands stuck in the pocket of the large red hoodie, black jeans with a bright scarlet design covered his legs, with almost matching black/red boots.
“The leader is calling a meeting.” He calmly stated over his shoulder.
The young guy turns around to the pale pink haired man, when he didn’t hear an answer. Brilliant golden eyes follow the man’s Grey eyes gazed down to the familiar group below.
“That was a long time ago. We can not dwell on the past, when we are on the other side of the fence. They will have a chance to choose soon enough, until then they will have to be the enemy.” With that the emoish guy disappeared in a sea of blackish/purplish flower petals.
The man in the cloak turned to open a portal, and as he began to walk through he thought he felt a set of eyes on him. Turning around inside the portal he smiled, and not a fake one but a true smile to the watcher. Then the portal closed as the wind picked up slightly. A cool breeze blew around the nobodies below.
