“Wait, Nyx,” I whispered, reaching out to grab her wrist. But before I could she disappeared through the portal.
I let out a sigh and turned to the portal she left for me. It would take me right back to the castle and out of this mess… I held out my hand a closed it. I came this far and I’m not turning on my friends.
I sat down and scooted over to the corner. I took a couple of deep breaths and slowly peeked my head around the corner. I saw two guys standing in front of a closed cell. One was tall the other short, and they were both dressed in shaggy clothing. They looked exactly like the type of guys who followed their villain around and only messed things up. Then I caught sight of him and freaked out.
I bit my tongue to stop myself from screaming or gasping and pulled my head back around the corner. I leaned against the wall and when I was more relaxed I exhaled. “He looks just like Marluxia,” I breathed.
Suddenly there was a yell from the cell and the sound of something crashing. I looked back around the corner and saw the three of them all standing startled. I could hear Raxi and Nyx yelling at each other through the door.
This must be what Nyx was trying to hide from me. She looked so stressed all the way here and when we got here she randomly told me to go back when she was the only one who wanted me to come in the first place. It sounded like Raxi and Nyx where fighting…
The door burst open and a sheet of ice immediately covered the cave. The two guards were killed in a blink of an eye. Raxi was not herself. She had a look in her eye that singled she was not fully there, like someone took over her body. And Nyx was covered in blood.
I jumped to my feet instantly out of shock. Raxi was going to destroy them both.
I summoned my keyblade, in my new found courage, and was ready to try and stop Raxi, but she suddenly fell to her knees.
"Why didn't you fight her?! I told you, if you don't fight...you'll be KILLED NYX!" Marlex said.
"Marlex..." Nyx mumbled getting to her feet.
"I'm sorry Nyx...but I'm afraid Raxi will be coming with me. Don't try and stop me...or I'll have to fight you." I watched as Nyx rushed to Raxi and got her out of here, then as the broke into battle.
"Why did you make Raxi go away? Why didn’t you go with her? Why do you not see that it has been TEN YEARS sense ANY of us where Friends? People change Nyx; we can’t go back to what we once were. Everyone is gone. Everyone is dead. But you know what…" He was wrong. I watched as they continued to go after each other. Why were they fighting this way?
Then he started taunting her about the original 13.
That was it. I couldn’t sand to hear him say that, like we were two spate groups.
I pulled my hood up and took a deep breath. I mustered up all the energy I could and released it out through my hands in a wave of water. I washed everywhere melting the ice, and knocked Marlex into the wall from force.
In the five seconds that he stood dazed it seemed like time slowed down. I watched as the water fell and relaxed on the ground. It came up to my ankles. My hood slowly fell off my head and I heard Nyx call my name, but I didn’t turn around, me and Marlex were locked onto each other gazes.
“Ahhh Xemmsur, long time no see. I assume you have been well?” He asked giving me a smirk.
“Stop being so stupid Marlex!” I shouted and throw another wave of water at him.
“Now what would make you think that?” he asked.
“You! You and everyone else at Zero think you’re so much better now. But you’re only hiding behind Xerebus! You’re weak…” I continued to yell at him. He suddenly rushed forward and attacked me. I flew backwards and hit the wall.
He walked over to me and stopped staring at me. After a minute he crouched down till he was eye level with me. “Who is the weak one now?” he said in that a taunting voice.
I lifted up my leg and kicked him away from me. He landed on the ground making a splash in the water. Before he had a chance to get up I rushed over to him and pinned him down the ground. I made my face even with his so my hair was brushing his face. He looked so much like Marluxia it was scary. I never remembered him like this…
I lowered my head till my mouth was next to his ear. “I’m not going to fight you. No matter how much you try to reject it you are still one of us, and I refuse to have you fade away.”
“hm Like you could kill me.” He said.
I quickly pulled my hands off his arms and pushed them on the ground opening a portal. Marlex fell threw and I closed it before I fell in too.
I slowly stood up to face Nyx. Her face was in awe. But she was badly beaten.
