"....but both Aidex and Xyta must make a pact with me." I smirked out to the procession of subordinates.
Good....I've been needing another pact... I thought to myself. Because of that witch Minx, I lost a pact with Triskix....that only leaves two....I must secure another one at least....
"WHAT?!" RaXI yelled out. An image of her tearing me apparent was forming in her mind. She always did have the most creative ways of destroying me.....
"No!" Triskix bellowed. Now this is interesting..... I thought to myself. Triskix what has gotten into you? I will break you dog.
Nyx's thoughts also rampaged into my mind.
‘That intolerable man. Doesn’t he remember childhood, to have fun, to be cared about? How could he even think about doing that to a child! Doing it to Triskix is bad enough! Does he wish to create mindless, impassioned, robots?’ her thoughts yelled.
Leixian had more thoughts running at me at once than I could possibly hear. A mixture of loathing and irritation was exploding out of his mind.
They're all so loud when then think no one can hear. Idiots. I thought to myself.
"I refuse it!" Aidex yelled up. I could feel the fear radiating out of her, but she was still talking. Time to break that.... I thought to myself.
"I refuse to be chained to anyone that would harm Xyta like this! "We will leave, but we will not be abused like this! We did not just escape from Minx to end up slaves to you!" she yelled.
I looked down at her. Well as much as a blind person could look. Triskix at this point looked down as well, and I saw through his eyes the defiance in Aidex's purple eyes. Martel's eyes.... a thought raced through me.
"We won't. We won't be chained," Aidex said again. "Not to anyone that so much resembles Xerebus!"
Xerebus! That bastard! How dare she compare me with that scum! my own thoughts screamed. I will break you child....I will break.... I jumped straight off of my seat and stood in front of the child. The fear running off her was like sugar in my mouth.
"I will not have such disrespect from children," I glared. "And I will not be compared to Xerebus."
Suddenly I felt a fiery presence jump down and stand between me and Aidex. Triskix.....that boy's mind was so filled to the core with hatred of me at this point I was ready to break him to pieces. My arm already started to form Cypher.
Nyx dropped down as well, and soon they were all around me. Subordinates.....how i loathed them......RaXi came up from behind and placed a dagger at my throat. In an instant I was ready to summon Cipher and brand a new bit of pain into her.
"I will not allow you to harm these children. I worked too hard to save them from their abyss." She hissed into my ear. "Or have you forgotten...this is not the arena. This is where nothingness 'gathers'...don't you DARE defile this hall with your quarreling."
My quarrels? I laughed to myself. Says the one who is trying to rip my head off.
"Leader." Triskix began again. "Leave this matter in my hands. I will preside over matters concerning the assigning of apprentices."
Triskix, I said to him. His mind recoiled at hearing me, but he didn't flinch. You weak flame-demon. I thought I broke your will a while ago. Shall I add a few new scars to your body?
If you try I will fight back, Triksix answered. Do with me what you will, but you will not harm these children.
So protective are you? I asked casually back. The one who's master ended the lives of all the other masters and would have ended the lives of the all the children? Interesting Triskix truly interesting....
"No Triskix. I will do it." RaXi said a loud.
I had been focusing so much on Triskix's thoughts that hearing RaXi's voice was a snap back into reality. She still had her dagger at my neck, but I knew very well she didn't plan to decapitate me. She slowly moved the dagger away. Good dog... I thought to myself.
"Or have you forgotten...it has ALWAYS been my duty to watch over the Apprentices of Oblivion," RaXi continued.
"RaXi..." Triskix stumbled. I glared at him, but his mind had recovered from my threat and torment. He was getting to big for his cloak. "That's right Leader...I have faith in her, please grant her request."
"You are both impudent brats!" I said sharply. "I will not stand for your disrespect! Do you honestly think you can speak that way to me...I am the acting Leader of Organization Oblivion! I am the one in charge and I will have respect!"
"If you want respect EARN IT!" RaXi shouted. I could feel the icy hatred running off her in waves. She was ready to take a beating right then and there....but suddenly I felt the weariness run through me. It was coming again and soon i would need to rest or end up fading.
I lifted my hand and pointed at RaXi. "You will both regret...."
"Nothing!" Nyx growled. "RaXi is right! If you want to be respected then earn it! But you WON'T hurt her or Triskix!"
The venom in her voice was so potent I didn't even need to hear her thoughts.
"That's right." Lexian's voice said. I could see through a tangent in RaXi's mind that he was in front of Triskix. "I have some unfinished business with Triskix...I don't care what deal you have with him...we'll be settling our business."
"Idiots..." Triskix mumbled.
You too Triskix. I thought keeping them in my own mind. You are the fool who thinks he'll live long enough to see his master again.....when I have what I need, Triskix, you'll be the first to die.
"Last time I checked...this place was for objective speaking...and for discussion of important business." Xemmsur's voice said. "You aren't ACTING in a very dignified manner...not if you want to be called 'Leader'."
My fingers tightened and I was ready to fight them all for speaking to me this way. It was as if I had four Xerebuss surrounding me.
"Exactly...and in meetings...majority rules." RaXi smirked. Don't worry. I thought to her but kept them from her. You'll be the second to die. The sudden rush of weariness was coming up again. I had to sleep or make a pact in that spit second......
"DO what you want with them then! I allow it." I finally yelled. I had to get back to the central tower...... Martel....I'm sorry I'm weak.... I thought up into the nothingness. I will get stronger and I will bring you back. And then....I'll kill everyone of these weaklings I was forced to concede with.....
"I don't care about any of this...all I want....grr....I swear I'll bring her back...no matter what..." I said quietly.
The weariness.....was pulling at me now....
"Ugh! Continue to the meeting Triskix! I'm in NO MOOD for this RABBLE!" I yelled opening up a portal.
As I left I released the loud mouth Xyta. As I entered the central tower, I summoned up a large amount of lesser nobodies and had them surround every level. It was only then that I lay down and closed my eyes. She looks so much like you Martel.....so much like you, but so different....even through their eyes I saw the differences....If I could see.....I bet I could find otherthings....Martel....I will bring you back.....I will......
