"Two are coming to the castle," Triskix stated turning to look at me.
"Friend or Foe?" Lexian asked.
"Neither, two rogues," Triskix answered turning back to talk to Lexian. "Let's meet them."
And with that Triskix and Lexian both made a portal to the new presence just outside the castle, with Anamx in tow. Aidex waved back at Anamx as he glanced back at us. I heard Xemmsur sigh next to me; I as well let out a soft sigh of tiredness.
“I wonder how RaXi is doing. Something has to up for her to take this long.” Xemmsur commented on silent questions that we all have been thinking of.
“Master RaXi…” Aidex said out loud though it was more to herself. Her long black hair covered her face, as she looked down to the floor. “Do you think Xyta is okay?”
Her quiet voice cut threw the dense air. Kneeling down to her level I pulled back some of the thick black hair back behind her ear. Worried blue eyes slowly moved upward, shyly looking from Xemmsur to me.
“She will be just fine.” I told Aidex smiling at her reassuringly. “RaXi is with her, and nothing can stop RaXi when she has her mind set on something. Xyta is in the best of hands, I can promise you that.”
“No worries Aidex. Xyta is in perfectly safe!” Xemmsur said cheerfully next to me, as I stood back up. Then without notice something threw its self at Xemmsur and me. Making both of us take a step back. Looking down I saw that it was Aidex, hugging one of Xemmsur’s legs and one of my legs.
“Come on lets find Triskix and Lexian.” I stated.
“You know they are not one for introductions!” Xemmsur said in a soft laugh, looking from me to Aidex. “Ready Aidex?”
Shaking her head she reached up and grabbed both of our hands. Using my other hand to make a portal to the gate of the castle, glade we had a reason to leave this place. Everything in the air around this room felt dead, and the leader’s misty disappearance didn’t help my uneasy feeling. It was like the room is alive and can feed off of anything that was light.
Halfway threw the portal everything started getting warm fast, and once me made it threw to the other side we all saw the reason. Lexian was behind Triskix holding onto a timid Anamx. A wall of fire surrounded the edge of the castle, with only one opening that held Triskix. Standing on my tiptoes I could just see past the tall man, in front of him was two nobodies.
One reminded me of Lexian he had the same darker out look. Moving my head a little to see whom the other new nobody was I caught a glimpse that quickly sent me back flat on my feet. It looked like the same person from the portal that Kyxsha, Xemmsur, and Aidex were in earlier.
“Nyx what is it?” Xemmsur asked from the other side of me still hold on to Aidex’s hand. Letting go of Aidex’s hand I walked closer to Lexian and Anamx. Triskix was talking to them and in an instant the wall of fire was down. From behind me I heard Xemmsur and Aidex walking up to Lexian as well.
“Nyx?” Lexian said in a disapproving voice.
“Are they planing to stay Lex?” Shutting out his question I asked a different one.
“Yes. That is the assumption.” Walking closer to Triskix I tried to get a better view at the new comers, trying to see if the one was the person I saw before.
After the person that reminded me of Lexian threw a piece of paper at Triskix. I walked up the rest of the way to him. I could hear Lexian mumble something about being too curious, as Xemmsur walked up to Lexian. Aidex quickly made her way up to me, and stood behind me almost hiding like.
“um… Hi, My name Nyx. Sorry, what are your names again? Are you guys staying?” I said looking at both of them, and back at a lost in thought Triskix.
