A meeting right after me and Triskix got back from a mission.
Triskix ushered me through the portal that lead to where nothing gathers. Most of everyone was in there by the time we came in. I noticed that Kyxsha had a child with her, younger than the other two who had just join us.
I took my seat and the meeting started. The leader immediately called attention to the little girl. He wanted her out, but Kyxsha looked about ready to fly across the room at him.
What happened next was so fast I had no idea what was going on.
We could tell the leader was making Kyxsha sick, which caused Nyx to flash some form of her power, we were all blind for a moment and when we could see again Nyx was on the ground, Ximh rushed to her side, before I could even move Raxi was on the ground, and Triskix flew to her aid and he pasted out after healing her.
Finally gaining the reflex to move, I portaled down to the floor to help Ximh with Nyx. Everyone seemed to be okay, except for Triskix who the leader insisted we just leave him.
When we were all back in our seats the leader went back to the little girl. He was still intent on kicking her out but Raxi convinced him other wise and that we should have a vote. I let out a small yes in my head and I knew the leader would hear me and everyone else who just said the same thing so he let her stay under Kyxsha's care.
The last thing on the agenda was a shocker.
The leader opened up the floor and out came a machine. I recognized it right away.
"Is that the..."
"Yes, it is Ansem's machine, but I have done some work on it."
"Work?" Raxi asked.
"Yes, I've rearranged it a bit. It is.....A Cypher, a Machine that will generate a portal to where nothing gathers."
What was that? To where nothing gathers? I looked down at the machine again. It looked like it was finished Where we really that close to getting them back? My mind faded back to Demyx and all the other 13. Having them all back, here, with us. The feeling I got was almost unbearable. It seemed to good to be true but there it was right in front of me.
I suddenly felt the urge to rush forward and fire it up, but the leader was still talking and I realized I had missed the whole conversation.
"I need more of them," where the only words I caught.
"More what?" I asked before feeling my face turn red.
"More lesser nobodies," Ximh answered from next to me. "We need more of their energy."
"Ohhh," I said to myself. "Well I think it should be no problem going out to gather a few more nobodies. A small job for something big," I said out loud.
