“The door over there leads to the other room with another equally fabulous bed!” Tanex said smiling motioning to the dark polished wooden door toward the far corner of the large room. “You need it Nyx dear.”
Hardly even listening to him I began to remember little pieces of the time in between, and without even thinking the words flowed from my mouth.
“I came back you know, but it was just for a little bit I couldn’t stay long. It was about a year after everyone… everything happened. I hoped everything would be, well normal, that it was all a dream. No a nightmare, and maybe if I visited the castle it would wake me up. The thing is it did wake me, woke me up to the realization that everyone and everything was gone.”
“You are right once again Tanex leaving, I think, just maybe was the best in some ways.”
“Go to bed dear, we can speak more in the morning.” Reaching down he pulled me to my feet easily and guided me to the door, opening it once we got there and pulled me in.
“RaXi will need hel—“
“Bed Nyx. You need it or you going to fall asleep on your feet. I will personally make sure she is okay, though I believe that Verex already has bet me to it.” Tanex stated laughing to himself at the ending comment.
“Okay.” I have found that it is futile to argue with a gay man especially him. He is worse than Triskix and Lexian combined.
Chucking he leaned down and wrapped his long arms around me, lifting me off the ground in a hug. I couldn’t help but to giggle at the memories it brought back but with in seconds it all ended again. Tanex gave a happy waves and walked backwards into a void of darkness.
Falling back onto the amazingly soft bed I could feel my eyelids drupe as sleep started to consume me. I began to wonder if Lexian found his way back yet, if RaXi was all right using so much energy. If Triskix and Xemmsur were okay and if they were mad with our decisions. All of these thoughts running threw my head made me restless and I knew that if I slept now I would never get the full rest.
Rolling back over and standing up I noticed a dresser in the far corner. Curiously I walked over and opened it to find a whole different wardrobe, change quickly I opened the conjoining door only to see the girls right were they where before. Knowing this was one of the safest places to stay, I closed the door back up and made a portal hoping to find Lexian. If he even stayed in the castle, but Tanex would know if he left and we would have told me if he did… right?
