Thread of the Week
Ah, the season is coming up again - my all-time favourite holiday! Unfortunately Halloween isn't really celebrated in Australia; at least, not to the same extent as America. Not fun.
So for those of you who get right into the holiday, what are your plans? Do you go trick-or-treating? Do you have Halloween parties? And - most importantly - do you dress up?

All I can say is that if aliens do exist, I just hope they're not like the ones in Independence Day.

I have another couple of threads for you this week. Thanks to those who responded to my last post, too. I am about to add some new contributors to OB World and hopefully that will keep things interesting. 
Today, of course, is September 11. I felt that Raiha's new thread should be published on here this week because September 11 had a long lasting effect on so many people. It was also an event that changed the world in many ways.
Interestingly, just as the attacks were occurring, somebody did make a thread about it on OB. Several members commented on the unfolding events as they happened. These kinds of threads go well beyond anything else in terms of significance I think; these are real reactions to an enormous tragedy in history.
I remember that one of my biggest concerns on that day was whether or not Adam was okay. I did not know exactly where he lived in New York City, but simply being in the same city - especially when so much was still unknown - is in itself quite scary. I was relieved when he finally came online afterward.
On a lighter note (and perhaps to remind us of the luxuries we are afforded in free countries), I thought I would also publish ChibiHorsewoman's latest thread:

Rather than doing another thread of the week, I thought I'd just pose a question:
What type of updates would you like to see added to OB World?
I'm interested in adding more Guest Posters to start putting together more updates for this page (and hopefully some more variety too). I'll continue to do Thread of the Week, but I'd really like to see more stuff as well.
So what do you guys want to see? And would anyone be interested in volunteering to add updates to this page?
