Hey guys. How's life? How has everyone been?
Haven't updated in awhile. Last post was in January about Pretty Little Liars sooo....yeah I haven't really posted an actual post about me for awhile haha. Not sure how many people I used to interact with still get on here? hehe
I haven't posted much art on here in awhile. It will probably stay that way. I'm really just posting stuff on Facebook now whenever I get around to completing pictures.
Summer has been pretty good. I went to Florida to visit my grandpa and Skylar got to come along so that made it really enjoyable. I took a maymester class at my college (a 4 week summer course from middle of May-middle of June) on cartooning and character design and that was fun. We mostly just joked around and watched godzilla/super hero movies most of class but hey, I got 3 credit hours for it so I'll gladly take it over another class with the typography professor I had last semester...He was korean and was pretty confusing to understand what he wanted or what he was talking about...I have another asian professor for intermediate typography next semester who is also apparently hard to understand so excuse me as I got cry.
ANYWAY. There has been lots of WoW. Yes, I still play! (4 lvl 90s so I have no life.) haha Lots to do to prep for the new expansion coming out in December. :) We have new members of the DREAM TEAM too! A dad and his two sons joined as well as some of the dad's friends! He also is providing a voice chat server for us (that costs real $$ so it's very exciting!) I'm looking forward to the guild growing :D
Also lots of hanging out with Skylar. On the 26th of August we'll have been together for 2 and a half years! He's seriously the greatest. Last Saturday he invited me to go to his friend's wedding with him so that was super fun! We got to get all dressed up and fancy! Here's us!
I'm so sad to see summer ending because that means he goes back to school 2 hours away and we only get to see each other every other weekend. BUT there is a positive! He has an apartment so I'll actually get to visit him this year! :) And I am also moving into an apartment with 3 girls so that is also super exciting :D yay to my own room and a full sized bed!!! (I have a twin bed at home haha) But then I also have to cook meals so uh-oh. I've kind of turned into quite the health nut since I've gone to college...I workout at least an hour a day and really watch what I eat. I work at the gym on campus too...sometimes I feel like I should have majored in dietetics or kinesiology instead of graphic design. Haha
ALSO. MY BIRTHDAY. SEPTEMBER 1ST. I'LL BE 20. HOLY COW.
But hey, I may be leaving my teenage years but that will still not stop people from mistaking me as one for probs the next few haha (I went to the dentist the other day and the lady thought I was still in high school. I will be a junior in college so thank you I guess)
I"m not ready to start my junior year and be an adult and ugh no please stop.
OH I FORGOT ONE LAST THING.
Skylar and I watched Attack on Titan and oh my gosh. I haven't had an anime keep my attention like that one has since I watched Higurashi and Umineko when I was in 10th grade. THAT WAS 4 YEARS AGO. Like, holy cow. It's so good. Armin is my favorite cause like wow he is adorable.
But yes. Ok. I'm done.

SPOILER ALERT IF YOU DON'T WATCH PRETTY LITTLE LIARS. None of my friends watch it so I have no one to talk to about the drama that just happened!! I need to vent.
OK I JUST WATCHED THE MIDSEASON FINALE FOR SEASON 3 AND WHAAAAT. TOBY?!?!?!?! I am literally soooooo upset. I loved him! He and Spencer were so cute together!! Spencer is my favorite of the girls and I'm so sad for her!! AND THEN CALEB GETTING SHOT OMG. I cried, especially when it showed Hannah crying and shouting as they rolled him into the ambulance. But anyway...first Mona and then Toby who is next...I hope I can find a website to finish watching season 4 on to catch up cause this is seriously so good.

If you don't watch PLL I definitely recommend it!! It's so good haha Always keeps you guessing.
Can I just cry tears of joy right now?
I studied my freaking butt off and I got:
98 on my psych final
99.5 on my art history final
95 on my Latin American studies research paper
96; (highest grade in the class!!) in Design Methodology
Then I have no idea about my grade for computer graphics but my teacher has liked everything I've submitted so I'm going to assume that's an A too.
AHHH all I'm waiting for is the Latin American studies exam I took today to be graded but I just need an 80% to keep an A in the class sooo I should be good :DDD
So glad it's over with!
Next semester I'll be taking:
-Art History: medieval period
-Intro typology
-art semenar
-intro to fibers
-portfolio review to get into the graphic design program
-and a gen ed english class on Shakespeare (My roommate, future roommates, and other friend are all taking this class together! SO EXCITING!)
Break is going to be FANTASTIC THOUGH.
Skylar and I are getting each other embarrassing sweaters for Christmas <3
Bailey, Brian, and I are going to finish watching LOST
I'm about to marathon The Last of Us so I can FINALLY beat it!
Good times. PLUS WE GOT A REAL TREE FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR. AND WE HAVE 3 NEW KITTENS TO CLIMB IN IT!

Hope everyone else has a good end of the semester/week of classes before winter break. :)
So finals are done for me on the 13th and I'm going to have like 5 days until my boyfriend comes home from school so does anyone have any suggestions for anime I can marathon those few days?
I've been watching AMVs to sad songs I've been listening to and it's really gotten me in the anime mood for once (WHICH IS REALLY BAD TIMING SINCE I'M SUPPOSED TO BE STUDYING AND WRITING MY RESEARCH PAPER AND MEMORIZING PAINTINGS UGH HELP)
But anyway....
THERE'S ONE CONDITION----
It has to be super sad and make me cry.
I need drama and deaths and cheatings and break ups haha
One Tree Hill anime style basically haha
Air, True Tears, 5cm per Second, and Rumbling Hearts all made me cry so things like that!

I'll give you a list of my current obsessions to inspire you! Pick whatever you like! :)
A lot will probably be from TV shows so feel free to draw them in ANY STYLE! They don't have to be realistic!
1. One Tree Hill. A show has never made me laugh, cry, scream, or yell at the TV as much as this one has. My favorite characters are Brooke and Julian (Brulian forever<3)
2. I'm a big gamer. I'm a big fan of Quantic Dream's Heavy Rain and Beyond Two Souls so any characters from those games are great! Norman Jayden is my favorite of them all.
3. CATS. I love all cats. Anything cat related is fantastic. haha
4.I'll give something anime related now, my favorite mangas are School Rumble and We Were There. Anything from those two series goes. :)
5. I love love love The Office and Parks and Recreation.
