Introduction: Balloons.

So, I'm here, writing about my terrible roommate experiences.
I'm majoring in Graphic Design and she's majoring in Studio Art. But here's the thing. She told me her art teacher hated all of her art last year and that she wasn't good. SO WHY IN YOUR RIGHT MIND WOULD YOU MAJOR IN STUDIO ART?
For real.
But the first week was really awkward.
We have like totally different senses of humor. And by that I mean I laugh at like everything and she just sits there with a blank stare.

I'm not going to use real names so I'm referring to her a "Penguin" because she really likes them.
Right now I am going to tell you about the most vital information about Penguin.
She is afraid of balloons.
This all starts the night before my Birthday. It was the first weekend of the school year so I didn't really know much about Penguin at this point. I was out with my boyfriend and I get a text at 2 a.m. saying:
"There are balloons around our door ]:"
Apparently people in my hall taped balloons around our door for my Birthday, which was super nice!! :D So I replied:
"Oh really? I'll come back then"
and the next reply I receive is
"I'm afraid of balloons."
At this point my boyfriend and I BUST out laughing. Like seriously. WHAT.
So we rush back there and I see this around my door.

Pretty cool, right?
I go in and Penguin is like freaking out about them because our suite mates forgot to unlock the bathroom door and she had to walk by them to go knock on their door to get them to unlock the bathroom.
I don't even know why she is afraid of them or what caused her fear. I'm too afraid to ask though cause I don't want her to yell at me. More on that in a later post.
But yeah. I'll probably update with my stories from the fall '12 semester every few days until I get some new ones from this semester.
I have to go back today and pretty much the main reason I don't want to is my roommate. UGH.
Bye-bye for now.
