What if I want to change the very BASE of my Character?
--First. Let me explain what a “BASE” is. When you enter the Host Club, you are to create a ‘character’ in which to interact with. What you initially set her up to be, is called a Base. For example. You come in as a “human”, and you want her to be just that. You cannot suddenly go up to a Soul Reaper and tell them that you are a Soul reaper as well…you have to somewhat stick to your base. (Exceptions will be explained further on)
-Now, if you want to change your base, there is a way to do that, though it will not be a cheap price. Once a character is established, it’s hard to simply say, “well now I want this…”. It confuses people, and essentially changes your base, whether the personality remains intact or not. Thus, if you are starting “fresh”, then it shall be all the way through. To change your base character, you must give up all points and statuses with all hosts. Therefore, this is NOT a decision you should make hastily. It’s pretty much starting from the very beginning. Yet, because in extreme cases, someone might want to do this, we are offering this option.
-If you don’t wish to change your base race that way, and instead wish to be “transformed” into something that your host is, then the prior mentioned exception comes into play, yet this too has a limit. Examples of this would be, being a human, that is transformed into a vampire through the actions of a host. You can do this a total of 2 times, HOWEVER, before taking this action you must request permission from not only the host, but from a MoD as well. We keep things straight, so we have to know what you are doing.
There is a chance that your request will be denied. Hosts have the rights to deny your request based on personality, actions, or other formal reasons in which will all be discussed prior to said event. In other words, you will know WHY you are being denied. It won’t just be a “no”.
What happens if I leave the Host Club, but then decide to come back at a later time? Do I get to keep my points/status?
-If you leave the Host Club, then return at a later time, you MUST start fresh. Yet, if you provide good reason to your departure, then restarting may be waived. Though this won’t happen in most cases, simply because if you make the statement of actually “leaving”, or if you disappear, it’s assumed that you are no longer there, and points will not be held for you. ((In most cases, your host will eliminate the points you earned thinking you are gone)) Therefore. You will have to earn them all back without a proper reason prior to your leaving, or upon your return.
What is a Part-Time Host?
-A part-time host is a host that is not as active as a regular host, or one who is exclusively found on an IM system such as AIM, or Skype. Being a fan to a Part-time Host means you cannot expect constant communication, though the points will be adjusted accordingly to ensure fairness. You will be sacrificing quick promotions for instant communication though, so please keep this in mind. Part-time hosts have reasons for inactiveness, so please be courteous and understanding to them, ne?
