Unfortunately, this world seems to be mostly dead. I've done some long and hard thinking, and came to the conclusion that it'd be best to shut it down. I don't have the heart to delete it, so this world will remain as is, but guest posting is no longer available. If you are uncomfortable with any of your work still being up, please PM me, so that I can adjust posts. Also, if you have any questions, or would still like to share your work with someone in general, please feel free to me.
I want to thank everyone who ever participated in Otaku Poems. Whether you were a poet or a commenter, or silent audience, thank you. Otaku Poems had a good run~
The Pain in Me

I still see your face in my dreams
It hurts and it doesn't help at all.
I still want you in my life as crazy as that seems.
I want you to catch me when I fall.
I still remember the first time we met
There was something so different about you.
Your friendship was something I wanted to get
That smile when you said hi to me was so new.
Out of no where you called me on the phone.
I wanted to sit there and talk to you forever.
You were so new, so crazy and unknown
I just knew that our friendship would never fall apart.
Two years and we are barely holding it together.
What happened to the way this all used to be.
I never wanted you out of my like ever,
I sat there for a long time pretending not to see.
We decided that everything will be all right.
Until that fatel night. I was crying that,
It shouldn't end this way but it did and I shouldn't have.
I miss you and everything you were to me,
Ten years from now we will look back on it all.
We will be far apart from each other but we will see,
That love will stand the test of time and never fall.

I feel his pain
there is no escape
I want to help
but not get in his way.
His face shows it all
the turmoil inside

but not be denyed.
How can I help him?
without hurting his pride?
Is it possible
for him to see the other side?
I see your tears. They grace my sorrows,
Your neutral mask burns more than the smoldering pit of flames in my mind
Hate so deep and defined, they would frighten the god Aros
Exchange of glances, but a mere brush of flesh is to bind.
We were best friends merely yesterday. When did you start to hate me so?
Ivor, me dear, my sweet? I never hated you. And you took advantage of that.
In a class of conversations, laughs and smiles
One person is out of place
He has the face of a loner
blank, Emotionless, cold and lonely
He looks at the clock hoping it speeds up
His Eyes are so they’re different its like comparing reality to dreams
His hands on his desk stay still like a statue
He stares out the window lost in thought
His mind wondering in a daze
People nervously try to talk to him
He answers in a tone that it would scare even the toughest gangs
The thoughts he thinks are a mystery to those around him
The time runs by as he stares out that window
The problems on the board are invisible to him
The loud noise class is like the sound of torment to him
The clock ticks away as he waits for the torment of time to end
When the bell rings he slugs out the class of torment
His sluggish walking becomes a walk of courage
Nothing like the sluggish walk he walked before
His eyes so different from his stare in that class
He dazed stare is gone like the tone of his speaking
The thoughts he thinks are clear like the sky he stared at once before
Waiting for the moment when you'll notice me today
Waiting for the moment when you'll sweep me away
Waiting for the moment when you'll be here with me
I'll follow love with steps one, two, and three
Step one: Take me off my feet
Step two: Our acts are kind and sweet
Step three: Making you love me
All that matters most is if you stay
'Til then, I'll fly away and pray
Rise with the morning sun and set with the moon
Must make the most of it before it ends too soon
Can you feel how fast my heart is beating?
I'll fly away.. fly away and pray!
