Boyd Gaming Inc. today announced plans to resume operations at seven properties in Louisiana and Mississippi until it receives final regulatory approval.
Boyd Gaming plans to reopen three Louisiana properties on Wednesday, May 20, including Delta Downs Racecourse Casino & Hotel, Evangeline Downs Police Station Casino Hotel and Treasure Chest Casino. On Thursday, May 21, it will reopen two Mississippi properties: the IP Casino Resort and Spa in Biloxi, and Sam's Town Tunica Hotel & Gambling.
Next week, Boyd Gaming plans to resume operations at two locations, Amelia Bell Casino and Sam's Town Hotel & Casino Shreveport in Louisiana.
This is the first Boyd Gaming property to reopen after all company properties across the country closed in mid-March under state mandates to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Upon reopening, the property will operate with limited amenities and capacity limits in accordance with state and local requirements.
"The health and safety of our customers, team members and communities will be our top priority as we begin the process of reopening our properties nationwide," said Keith Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming. "Nationally, we have a comprehensive safety protocol in place approved by local, state and federal health authorities. We are optimistic that we will be able to reopen most of our properties over the next few weeks, and look forward to providing guests with a safe and enjoyable entertainment experience." 온라인카지노사이트
