Epic Fail Hurts
OUch...
I officially hate socks... And stairs... But mostly stairs.....
I was carrying down the steps a kind of sauce for my dog, (I <3 Storm!) And i fell... One minute I was going down the steps and the next I was on my but with it all over my leg...
Five minutes later my elbow and hand still stings...
NOT that you guys wanna listen to me complain or anything, just thought it would be nice to vent cause i'm a kind of person who gets unbelievable mad when they hurt themselves... Like on stairs...
Watch out for public enemy #1... Fuzzy socks and stairs!
.....ouch
A Day Like Any Other... Right?
I feel like I've abandoned this world! So, this is what I wrote for greenLeAf863's world The Heir Chronicles. Check it out! It's pretty awsome!
Stretching, Gwyn reached her hands toward the sky. She had just spent the last two hours pratically motionless except for the faint blur of her hands moving and a small metal object slowly being born. It was small, about five inches long at the most and colored a smok gray. "What have you got there, sis?"
"Youch!" She scowled as she rubbed her head as she wirled towards her brother, "You have got to stop doing that."
Chuckling he told her, "It's part of the trade. You still haven't answered my question, what did you make?" He walked over to the desk, not to be distracted.
"It's a mixture of things actually. It's a tracking device based on a person's aura so non-wizards can tell if a person is a Weir, Anaweir, or Elicitor and find them. Also, it's supposed to warn you of danger and a little holographic screen will pop up with information on what type of danger you're in from what and what they're weakness."
"And it won't blow up, right?" He took a cautious step back, well aware of the downsides of his sister's "inventions".
"Of course not! And besides, the things I blow up are actually supposed to... Just not when I'm holding them. Oh! I almost forgot, I think I might've fixed that too, or at least so if they do blow up it won't be a complete disaster." She reached into her pocket and held up a fine chain with a dragon pendent.
"And how is that supposed to help?"
"It has several features, one is that if something tries to blow me up it'll produce a sheild around me and the other is an idiot proof lock on the explosive item I made. Brilliant right?"
"Ah, no. And why are you making all these things? Hmmm?"
"Because... Gram wants us to find and protect the Dragonheart from the Roses so they can't use him. We're supposed to bring him to meet Gram too... I don't exactly get why she wants us to bring a wizard here, even if he has the Dragonheart."
"Well... What are we waiting for? If a warrior wants to speak to a wizard then it has to be important. Wait here while I go get my sword." Gwyn sighed as she watched her brother run upstairs to get his things together, always eager for a good fight, he is. Shaking her head, she went to tell her grandmother that they were ready to go.
Three hours later
"This is crazy! We've been walking around in circles for hours without finding this James guy, are you sure that thing is working?"
"According to this it says that he's right infront of us... Of course, Rowan, this guy is a wizard. He's using an invisibility spell!" Raising her voice she called out, "James, we're not going to hurt you. Our grandma just wants to see you!"
Before them a boy with shaggy silver hair and bloodred eyes appeared, looking to be about Rowan's age. "How did you find me? And how do I know that you're not on the Roses' side out to get me?"
Rowan snorted, "Honestly, like a sorceress and a warrior, who almost died in their stupid games, are really going to side with the Roses. I wouldn't be within ten feet of ya dude if it weren't for my Gram wanting to see you, she's a warrior as well."
James scanned their faces for a moment before mumbling under his breath before nodding, satisfied. "You're both telling the truth. My name's James."
"I'm Rowan, this is my little sister, Gwyn. It's thanks to her we found you, she has some sort of gadget that she made that thankfully didn't blow up on us." He sent a wolfish grin towards James, making sure the girl didn't see it. James relaxed, watching with amusement as the siblings argued.
"I do not blow everything up!" She scowled as the device in her hand began to smoke and images flashed onto the screen quickly. Looking to the north, she threw the smoking device at the figure in black approaching as it exploded. "DOn't. Say. A. Word." She glared at Rowan who was obviously trying to hold back a fit of laughter. "C'mon, let's get to Gram's house."
James glanced from one sibling to another, thinking how strange his day was. He got zapped by an elicitor, saved by some other warrior girl, and almost kidnapped by a crazy enchanter. He shrugged, what was the worst goig to some old lady's house? Walking to a narrow alley he followed the siblings on their way home.
A secret admirer, for me? But I hate valentine's day!
Note: I dislike valentine's day with a fiery-passion, but I read my sister's ( KyuuketsukiTsuki) story so I felt in the mood to write about it... How strange the ways of the mind work... *sigh* And of course (sorry sis) I'm on my crazy Harry Potte...I'm going on a rant... Don't mind me
My teachers signed me up for not one, not two, but THREE honors courses next year.... THREE!!!!!! English, Biology, and History... And i bet i could've gotten into Honors Algerbre 2/into to trig if i didn't hate math with a firery passion... Hilarious because i'm in band with all those WONDERFUL sixteenth and thirty-second notes... *Sigh*
Alright, I'm done...
For now...
Wish me lucks!
by the way, I noticed that Honors, when you replace the N with a R it spells Horor... And then my mom made me look "horor" up in the dictionary....
Aparently it has two "R"s in it... Stupid dictionary ruining my "amazing" spelling skills.
MIDTERMS!!!!!
Can you believe it?
Six different subjects with tests two HOURS long... *dies*
And my Latin teacher put items on the test that we didn't even learn yet!
x_x
On a happier note (literally)
I got a 292 out of 300 on my band midterm!!!!! (that's 97 and 1/3 grade)
So excited! And I was the second one to take my test!
We had to select 2 out of 3 peices to play specific measures assigned by our band instructor, different measure numbers for each different instrument. Along with the Circle of Fourths we had to play two of these:
Gallop
Promenade
Mother Earth... which he conducts in one when it's actually in 3/4 =(
One of my friends, a clairanet guy, got a 300 out of 300! My sister calls him Smiley....
I asked him if i could steal his talent but he said I couldn't... Bummer, his reason was because he's going to college a year before me... Oh well... 'm still not entirely sure what that means...
Back to Midterms! I only have to take my English (I hate Capt tests) on Tuesday and my Science on wednesday... Then new scedules!
I finally get a study hall! And I got new headphones so I can now listen to my music without it hurting my ears! YAY!!!!!!
Wanna know something really weird that I read off the back of my shampoo bottle? I doubt it but I'm going to tell you anyways...
In England in the 1800's, Pants was concidered a dirty word...
Interesting.....
while you chew on that peice of food for thought, I'm off! See ya (figuratively) Later!
