"Ava! Where are you?" A little girl called out.

You can find me, you just have to think about how. The little girl thought for a moment before closing her eyes. When she closed her eyes, she didn't see darkness, she saw everything around her in shades of white and gray. She concentrated on finding a red-gold flash of color when she heard her name called.

She opened her eyes and wistled softly, calling Ava to her. The flaming bird settled on the girl's shoulder as the ran off through the forest where they were playing to a clearing where there was an old man waiting for her with several other kids her age. "Ah, there you are Ava. I was begining to worry that something had happened.
