Her Forgiveness

Her thin face, white as the moon
Laying on the cotton pillow
Her feathery eyelashes do not flutter
Her sewn lips do not part
Her cheeks do not blush
Her eyes only open at her whim
She has a hold on life that only They can explain
She is beautiful, they look at her with jealousy
But what is there to envy?
She is perfect, but in all the wrong ways
Made for anothers wants, His wants
And her life is all pain
She cannot speak, yet she crys
She cannot walk, yet she dreams she can
Her name is Hope, and she despises it
For it is her alter and she has none of it
No hope, No life
She sits in an empty room
She screams inside
When they feed her, she does not taste
Her ribs have begun to show
She does not accept anymore
And they notice
He, Her creator, her reason for this pain is called in
But not even he can reach her anymore
She is too far gone
And he is angry
As she fades, He watches
But she knows he's there and she tries
It is too late
Now she is gone
He shows his pain with hostility and violence
And is soon put away
Bars line his face
His gray eyes show sadness and he regrets
She is gone now, and its his fault, he knows
Her pain, her suffering, her awful exsistince was all his fault
Just so he did not have to face lonesome
Yet he let her face it, while he drank
Drink is his escape
And it's gone now, so is she
The pain comes back, like a dam released
He curls up into a ball, on the damp floor
He know's she doesnt want this for him, it's not her way
But Karma works in odd ways
And he knows this is at her hands
But he also knows he deserves it
And so, he spends another day, another year, another lifetime
In this torture, waiting for her forgiveness
But what he doesnt know, is it will never come.
