She laughs

She smiles
He frowns
She skips and stands straight
He shuffles and hunches over
She is beautiful and everyone see's
He is beautiful, yet in another light
She runs, she is late for the bus
He walks slowly wallowing in his misery
She runs across the street without looking
He is walking across at the same time
She glances over at him and smiles
He see's a truck comming behind
She does not
He pushes her out of the way, taking the impact
She is knocked to the ground, but safe
He is in the middle of the street, lying with eyes closed, bloody and pale
She calls 911 franticlly
He is put into an ambulance
She hops in, not caring about the bus
He is barely saved
She sits, waiting
He now has no legs
She is given the news, she cries
He asks for her
She is surprised, but comes
He smiles when he see's her
She cries and tries to appoligize
He doesnt allow her to, and cuts her off "Better me than you" he says
She disagrees
He smiles
She visits him every day while he recovers
He awaits her arrival each day with the eagerness of a child on Christmas Eve

He is better one day, and sent home after a year in the hospital
