What's that?", Airi asked as she looked over at the far end of the room. "I turned and walked over to a stone pedestal with a crystal on it. "Some sort of gem.", I said as I lifted it to inspect. "It looks normal.", I said as I handed it to Airi. "You might be right, but since when have we come across anything normal here?", Airi said as I nodded. "We'll take it with us.", I said as a loud noise echoed. The wall next to us opened up and a breeze struck us. "A way out.", I said as we walked through the hole. When we got outside, it was day. "How long were we in there?", Airi asked. "I'm not sure, it's hard to have a perception of time here.", I said as we walked down a winding trail. "Now where?", Airi asked as we walked down the road. "For now we find some place to rest. We need to see to your injuries.", I said as we came upon a lake. "We'll stop here for the time being.", I said as we sat our stuff down.
