Glass Island 2

"There's something shining on the glass.", Airi said and pointed to a small spot on the island. "What do you think it is?", I said as I took a bite out of my fish. "Well, I'm not the one with enhanced vision am I?", Airi taunted and I sighed. I stared at the island and my vision zoomed in. I saw a pedestal with a gem on it. The gem was glowing brightly and around it were other pedestals. My vision returned to normal and I stood up. "There's another gem there. It's glowing.", I said as I turned to Airi. "How about we go check it out?", I asked her as I grabbed my bags. "I thought you said I shouldn't walk on my ankle.", Airi said. "You can use your bow as a walking stick.", I said as I helped her onto her good foot. "I could've gone with you earlier then.", Airi said with a sigh. "I forgot about the bow.", I said with a laugh. We walked toward the island and it came to a stop at the lakes edge. "So how do we climb up if it's glass?", Airi asked as she tried to step up onto it but slid. "Simple, like this.", I said as I threw some knives out in front of us and made them float. "When you don't have stairs, you make them.", I said as I helped Airi up onto the island and toward the pedestal. "It's warm here.", Airi said as we approached the glowing gem. "I think we should put the gems we have in the other pedestals.", I said as I handed her one while I took the other. The gems slid into the pedestals and began to glow along with the middle gem. The island began to shake and peices o glass broke off into the lake. "What going on?!", Airi shouted. "How am I supposed to know!", I shouted back. Suddenly, the island grew still. We turned to see the middle gem and I was gone. I. It's place was a glass ball with a blue liquid inside it. We looked at each other and I picked up the orb. "Nicely done boy. To tell the truth, I was beginning to wonder if you'd ever get here.", a voice said in a deep ruffled tone. Airi and I turned to see my spirit standing behind us. "Who are you?", Airi asked a bit shocked. "He's my spirit. Old man no-name.", I said as I glanced at him then back at Airi. "So have you found my name yet?", my spirit asked as he floated around us. "No. And I'm sure I won't find this easily.", I said as I put the ball in my bag. "Well, then hurry up. I can't wait forever.", he scoffed. "Haven't you been waiting forever?", I asked in a redundant tone. "No talking back to me!", he shouted as he slapped me on the back of the head. He sighed and backed away. "I guess I'll have to wait then...just don't take to long. Oh, and once more for the road.", he said as he punched me in the face, the vanished into thin air. I collapsed and passed out after that. "Well that was weird.", Airi said as she took the ball out of my bag. "So now we have to see what this can do.", she said as she sat down and rolled the ball around on her lap.
