The most recent vocaloid to be devolped, VY2, is not out yet, but is soon to be, hopefully this year! It was set to be released in 2010; suprisingly, the creators said that the release was delayed to give a more realistic, natural voice. With this late release notice, it was given 'Big-Al syndrome', which is given to male vocaloids when their release is delayed.
But, VY2 was never really given a set gender, but he is comfirmed as a 'masculine' voice.
He is intended to have a high quality voicebank. A suggested vocal range was supplied, giving users an idea of where on the piano roll VY2 should be used. His voice is young, but mature and not as shota as Kagamine Len.
