Paranormal Researchers

If you are here it's most likely because you have a craving to solve mysteries: the weird and unexplained. In this world, you can be whomever you like, but you are a paranormal researcher of some sort: ghost hunter, spiritualist, exorcist, medium, a priestess, etc. Use your imagination. The sky is the limit.

You were called to a certain town (along with a bunch of others) to get rid of ghosts that are plaguing a school. From there, you all join up and end up going around together to solve the paranormal mysteries of the world.

“What was that?” Aisling asked with a face that looked both perplexed and cautious.

“Miss Aisling, I believe the answer you’re looking for is on my face.”

“Christian, what the hell are you talking—?” Ariana stopped dead when she saw her demon butler’s visage.

Puck had been flung through the air in the opposite direction and had landed smack dab on Christian’s face, arms and legs splayed out at diagonal angles, wings flapping like a dying lightbulb, “Oooooooowwww…” came the wobbly complaint.

Ariana burst out laughing at the hilarious sight.

Christian lifted one hand, gripped the back of Puck’s shirt, and lifted him into the air looking at him with a blank face, “Well now Puck, would you be so kind as to explain what caused you to land on my face?”

“Let go of me you big meanie! Release the Page of Wands at once or else I will punch your lights out!” the fairy boy flailed his arms and legs wildly like a tiny cartoon character.

“Please keep in mind Puck,” Christian said with an amiable smile, “that you’re only seven or eight inches tall.”

“Why you—!”

“Just tell us what happened,” Emiko interrupted.

“This demon woman called Aeirin showed up out of nowhere to harm Ryuu and when I bravely placed myself in harm’s way she shot some kind of energy at me that made me fly backwards into you! There,” he huffed and wriggled in Christian’s grip.

“Thank you,” smiling in satisfaction he let Puck go.

“Ryuu!” Emiko called out into the dark hallways as she raced in the other direction.

“Come on, we need to help him if he’s hurt!” Aisling ran after her with Puck zooming past her.

Ariana and Christian ran side by side. “If Lord Aeirin has indeed shown up, then the demonic energy must’ve spiked,” the incredibly handsome young man said to his mistress.

“It did,” Ariana put a hand over her eyes for a brief moment and took a breath, “it went away though; Aeirin must’ve left.” She twirled her staff, “I hope Ryuu isn’t hurt.”

“Let’s see then, shall we?” they ran after the other girls, soon making it to Ryuu’s side.
