Paranormal Researchers

If you are here it's most likely because you have a craving to solve mysteries: the weird and unexplained. In this world, you can be whomever you like, but you are a paranormal researcher of some sort: ghost hunter, spiritualist, exorcist, medium, a priestess, etc. Use your imagination. The sky is the limit.

You were called to a certain town (along with a bunch of others) to get rid of ghosts that are plaguing a school. From there, you all join up and end up going around together to solve the paranormal mysteries of the world.

A Cat and a Hospital

*}*Ariana and Christian*{*
Ariana walked side by side with her butler down the street. They had left a few minutes ago after tea to head to the school a little early to observe. Ariana had her arm hooked through Christian’s, his other arm carrying a light package. She now wore a simple long white tank top with matching Bermuda shorts; black strappy sandals were on her feet.

“Lady Ariana, you are going to put your kimono over your current outfit right?” Christian inquired of his mistress.

Ariana nodded; she had chosen her red and white Japanese priestess kimono today, it was in the package Christian carried. The two walked in amiable silence for a while.

“Nayo,” demon butler and mistress both looked at each other and nearly startled when they faced forward; a cat had walked up and now sat in front of them.

“Well hello there,” Ariana said smiling as she knelt down. To her delight the cat leapt into her arms. Petting her, Ariana heard a low rumbling sound from deep in the. A smile spread across her face, “Christian, listen!” she said delightedly, “She’s purring.”

The demon smiled when his mistress held up the cat and heard the purr. “It’s a charming sound indeed Lady Ariana. By the way,” he stroked the cat, “her name’s Nani.”

Ariana beheld Nani for a few moments, “Hmm, she might’ve wandered off from her owners. Let’s look for them later Christian but for now,” she handed the cat over, “take her back to the house and get her settled.”

Christian bowed while holding Nani and immediately vanished. When he had arrived at the house he got Nani a warm bowl of milk and puffed up a pillow for her to sit on. Once done he reappeared before Ariana again and the two continued on their way.

“Remind me to do a prayer to Bastet later on for Nani okay? After all, Bastet is the Goddess of Cats in Egyptian mythology,” Ariana told Christian who nodded and said “Yes Lady Ariana” in reply.

Later on, when they passed a hospital, Ariana stopped dead in her tracks. Warily, she slipped her arm out of Christian’s and turned toward the building. “Christian, could this be the hospital the principal spoke of?”

“Indeed it is Lady Ariana,” turquoise blue eyes slid sideways to look at the hospital, “and I’m sensing auras like a demon as well. The demonic pressure isn’t too much for you.”

“You’re right,” dark honey gold eyes, like amber, exchanged a look with the turquoise orbs. “Christian, let’s take a quick detour shall we?”

I should’ve said her eyes are dark honey gold in the profile. Maybe I can change it. ~~Please don't include Ariana/Christian yet 'cause it'll ruin my idea. Thanks!~~
