Ryoen? Hmm... I had heard the name before.
"Now then, what do you want?" What do I want? Like... a wish? Could I trust this guy?
"Why the heck should I trust you?" Without giving him time to answer, I thought out loud. "Well, if I'm really specific, then you'll have trouble messing it up... Now, what to wish?" I thought about it. Money, power, maybe even the resurrection of the dead! My head swam with all the thoughts. I couldn't help myself from thinking of the pleasure, all I could do if I was the richest person alive! If I could bring people back from the underworld! If I could rule the world! What to pick!
"I-I want..." I stopped myself. What was I thinking?! A wish?! I could wish him and the other demons away! Tell them to leave and never come back! ... But what would that do for me? I get a few thousand dollars, and it be all gone before I could find another job. Did I really want to keep roaming around, looking for work, getting laughed at when I explained what I did for a living. So what did I want? Money? That would satisfy my constant wandering. For people to believe me? I'd just throw the world into chaos! More power? But I already got the power of the gods, or "spirits" as Ryo called them.
"Athena, goddess of wisdom." I called on the one goddess who probably hated me the most. So much for wisdom! Still, her quiet voice spoke to me. I listened and made up my mind then.
"I want absolute pow-" I started.
"Ryoen!" came a voice behind me. I cut off mid sentence, and whipped around to face a guy in his mid teens with spiky black hair. A girl stood not far behind him. Athena's voice left me, replaced with a more familiar one. Artemis.
"Don't listen to him, child!" she spoke urgently. "I have very little time. He is drowning out my voice, be it consciously or not! Do not trust him!" with that her voice disappeared. Athena's voice returned, but now I knew not to listen to her. In fact, I wasn't even sure it was her. Instead, I focused on the new comers.

Hope that's okay!
A banging sound echoed in the demon realm. Noiren opened one eye from his frozen meditative position on the ceiling of his realm and found annoyance instantly. However, he made no move as to inhibit the banging sound but rather returned to meditat...

I looked up the name of the school in a local address book, and got direction from someone. From there, I walked to the school, arriving as the sun was about to start to set. Hopefully the office was still open. Thankfully, it was. The lady behind the counter gave me a strange look.
"Hey, I'm looking for a job. Can I talked to the principle?" I asked her. She gave me a look up and down, then sighed.
"Fine, follow me." We walked down a hall, until we reached a large door. I waited outside while she went in to announce my arrival. I sensed a large presence of nonhuman energy.
"Sephira!" said a mans voice beside me. I whipped my head around to see a man standing there, though I knew he was no man. This guy emitted enough demon energy to be only one thing. A demon lord. The door opened behind me, and I blinked. The demon lord was gone.
"You may come in," said the lady. I entered, and she shut the door behind me. The principle ushered for me to take a seat.
"Who sent you here?" he asked.
"I think her name was... it started with an A... Ally? No... Alejandra? No... Aisling! That's it!" a flash of recognition went through his eyes.
"As I thought. You are a ghost hunter?" he asked. I smiled and nodded.
"I work with all sorts of Paranormal stuff. Ghosts are easy!"
"I must warn you though. Recently, I was informed that there is a large amount of demon activity as well. Will you still work?" His gaze was burning. I thought back to the demon lord I had glimpsed earlier. A chill went down my spine, but I nodded.
"This isn't the first time I've dealt with demons. I just recently took care of one." My smile brightened as I hid my own fear. Dang! Why was this society so revolved around money! A poor girl can't even eat without it!
"Well, then. Let's discuss prices." he leaned back.
"If you don't mind, sir. My price is considerably low, but I do a good job. All I want is meals provided as I work, and after wards, enough money to pay for basic necessities for the next month or two." My request shocked him.
"Hmm, well, I shall comply with the first, but I must offer you more money! This is not a simple case!" I opened my eyes wide, and started to object. "WELL!" he spoke over me, and I shut up. "I will offer you $10,000 when you are done." All I could do was nod.
"The rest of the crew should be here tonight. From what I've heard, they're at a hospital, thought I'm not sure why..." he explained. A grandfather clock went off to my left. "Hmm, that time already? Well, I'll be leaving for today. I wish you good luck tonight." With that, we rose and shook hands. He walked out the door first, while I stood there thinking for a minute. Then I turned and walked out. In the hall, the lights were shutting down, and there was no more noise, except the door closing somewhere towards the front of the school. Most likely the janitor leaving for the day.
"Well, we're all alone now. How 'bout coming out, Mr. Demon Lord?" I smiled and looked to my right. The demon from before came out.
"Ah, so you're the girl with the gift of the gods?" he said. "I am Ryoen."

Yep, so Sephira's hired, but she starts with a demon lord meeting! O.O poor thing... She's semi-famous among the demons, cuz they all want her power. I mean, come on! Who doesn't want the gods at their command?!
