I let out a long held breath once Ryuu left. "Now miss Chicken-Goddess-turned-Demon, let's get this thing on!" I hissed with a smirk. She gave me a 'you asked for it look'.
"Insulent girl! You and your species will burn in hell with those other foolish mortals!"
"Heh, well then, I guess I'll meet you there. Ugly ones first!"
With that she flew at me with wings stretched, aiming for my throat. I stepped just out of reach and caught her wing. Digging my long nails in, she turned around and skreeched an awfull sound at me.
"You got lucky girl!" she said. "I've grown tired of your insulence!" She transformed into a bird, and quickly flew away.
"Chicken!" I called after her. Well, I guess I could use a power I hadn't found the need for in ages. I felt wings of black, fluffy feathers appear on my back. Giving myself a boosting jump, I zoomed after.
Down hallways, sudden turns, rights and left. On one of the straight hallways, I called up to her. "Tired of running away yet?!"
"I will enjoy your destruction, vampire!"
"Yeah, you can have a front row seat in hell!"
Next thing I knew, her speed tripled, and she flew ahead. As she turned, when I had almost reached where she disappeared, the faery thing, Puck, appeared.
"Now where the hell do you think you're going?!" Currently, I was just plain pissed at everything.
"Aislings in trouble!" he said.
"But the dod gamn witch went that way!" he looked confused. "THE F****** BIRD!!!!"
"No!" he said, "She's not-"
"Shut yer trap! I saw her transform into that thing! I don't know about Aisling, but if you want to f****** save, that f****** girl, then I suggest beating this f****** b:+(4 first!!" I flew off, leaving him behind. He called after me, but I ignored him. As I turned the corner, I touched ground.
The crow, black bird, chicken thing was flying at Ryuu and a white haired man. Stale blood covered the floor. As I watched, the bird started clawing at the whit haired man. Forehead, arms, hands... Finally, Ryuu landed a hit on it, and it dissappeared in a puff of feathers. Suddenly, I saw the trap as it sprung.
The air vent was blowing air toward me from the other side of the hall. The white haired man was bleeding from several cuts and scrapes. Quite profusely, too. As I turned to run, the woman appeared in front of me, blocking all escape that direction with her wings.
Quickly, I put my hand over my mouth and nose. "Dm ew ew ookn itch!" I sceemed into my hand.
"Like I said, I will enjoy your down fall." She shot out razor sharp feathers at me. The things were made hard as diamond! I jumped, barely avoiding hundreds of them. Then I realized she wasn't aiming for me. I turned, and saw the hallway blocked off from the outside world from any direction, excluding a small window for air conditioning. She had just caged us in. I removed my hand and turned to her and growled.
"Oh! A waste of precious air! Eventually you'll have to breathe!" My anger was in bearable. I roared as I jumped at her. She simply deflected me with her wings. My vision was dimming, I had to take a breath. At the same time, it pulsed red as the inner beast tried to get out. Finnaly, I took a gasp of salty sweet air. Blood... That was it. My rage took control and the last thing I saw was me leaping at the woman.
