The two men roamed the school for a good five hours more or less, and time in its ever demanded honesty reflected this with the positioning of the sun. However, Matsu made no note of this, and neither did Nino. Both were silent and watching. A few...

I had been walking up quietly behind Ryuu. He had been talking to a ghost. Duh, I could see them. As the ghost faded away, we were alone, and my next step seemed like a bomb explosion to me.
"You might be light on your feet kid but not light enough for me not to hear you.” He said. I was about to sigh, when I noted what he called me.
"Excuse me who are you calling a kid?” I asked, offended. Okay, I was hell knew how much older than him! If anyone should be called a kid, its him.
"Zoey?! What are you still doing here?” he asked, surprised to see me.
“I was hired to beat demons. How about you?” Obviously, he was one of the ones working with the ghosts. What did plan on doing with 'em anyway? They ain't going anywhere by making small talk with 'em.
"I was hired to find out if there were any ghosts in this school. Right when I got here that was an obvious factor. If you wanted to exterminate demons you should have been here last night," he laughed. Well, not my fault my employer waited until this morning to call... As he started walk away, I was confused. If he was hired to find out if they were here, surely he's suppose to release them!
"Hey where do you think you’re going?” I called after him. The guy might also know where the demons are. Might be good to keep him around... Even if he was a human. Just as the thought occured...
"Leaving what’s it look like I’m doing?” and then the worst possible thing happened. The window burst. Glass cut flesh, and sweet smelling blood flowed. My eyes flew open wide. My vision widened, then zoomed in on the red liquid as my pupils turned to slits. I knew that my eyes were probably red. My canines extended, becoming longer and sharper. My nails were a foot long and extremely sharp.
I threw my hands over my mouth and nose. I wanted to turn and run, but I was frozen in place. The sweet liquid oozed out of a cut across his face, and out of deeper wound in his arm. I had sworn never to drink fresh blood... but... I was so hungry. I hadn't had blood for a week, since I ran out of money.
Before I knew it, I was standing behind him, having run so fast my feet didn't touch the ground. My hands had removed from my face, ready to catch a drop of blood on the tip of a nail. "Damn it. Today just is not my day," he said, and I came to. I realized what I was doing. Taking a step back, I turned and ran, not exactly top speed, but still fast enough that only the tips of my toes touched ground. I was just disappearing around the corner when I heard him call my name.
"Zoey?!" He said. "Hey, would you have any bandages?" No, please don't follow! I looking around, I saw the girls bathroom. Reaching for the door, I gave a small push, but it was locked. The school probably wouldn't appreciate if I broke the door. Plus that would destroy the reason for entering the bathroom.
A small, creepy giggle came from the other side. Damn demons! Must've heard me talking to Ryuu.
"Unlock the door!" I hissed at it. My voice was a tad lower, almost unrecognizable. The giggle came again. The smell became stronger with each step he came closer.
Finally he rounded the corner behind me.
"Zo-" he was cut off as I whirled around.
"Run!" I hissed. He had turned before I finished the word. A split second later, I lost control, seeing the excessive blood flowing from the arm wound. I jumped at the spot he had been, but by the time I landed, he was five feet away. The best I could control was running at a normal pace. Luckily, when I ran normally, I was fairly slow.
Eventually, I lost sight and smell except for some stale scent. Scratching my claw/nails along the wall to stop myself, I fell to the floor. Panting with effort, I turned and walked back to where I lest my stuff.
Carefully unzipping my bag, I drank the few drops of emergency food left. It was enough to change me to normal, satisfying some hunger.

Aisling woke up by falling off the hammock and landing on the hard wood floor face down. This wasn't the first time this had happened.
"Ow..." Aisling said picking herself off the floor and rubbing her throbbing nose. "Why do I sleep in a...
