I needed to be alone; well, I just needed to get out of here and get some sleep. I helped Ryuu pack some stuff into the car and we took off, dropping him off at his house. After driving a while later, I dropped Aisling off at her place.
"Ar...

I received a phone call early that morning, just as I was about to go to sleep. What the hell did people need at this time of morning? Don't they know I do night jobs?
"This is Zoey, supernatural crime solver," I said drowsily. Resisting an urge to yawn, a male voice talked back to me nervously.
"Ms. Zoey? I'm calling about a case that you could help with?" he said. "We'll pay whatever you want."
"What ever, eh? Well, what's this job?" I was excited now. My kind of food wasn't exactly cheep.
"There is this private school. It's been having a bit of a ghost problems..."
"Sorry, kid, you've got the wrong girl."
"And demon problem." That stopped me. Hmm, demon, eh? Could get interesting.
"So you need me for the demons? Sorry, but your on your own with the ghosts."
"Oh, we all ready hired some ghost experts. But they didn't do so well against the demons from what I hear."
"So, anything else special."
"Well... we'd have to get you enrolled in the school..."
"Oh, and is this a night school? If I have to go to a day school, its going to be some big money, kid." I heard him almost tell me not to call him "kid", but he bit it back. Hey, you never know how old my kind really is.
"Yes, well, we will pay the extra fee, plus your tuition and uniforms..."
"Heck, I'm not wearing some preppy uniform."
"It's optional. I'll get you an exception."
"Well then, the cost calculates up to..." I did some mental math "$50 per supernatural being I see. Ghosts included." He was about to argue, but a sigh came from the other line.
"Fine." He gave me directions to the school as I wrote them down. When the conversation was done, I got dressed into black jeans, black high tops, a black Cheshire Cat t-shirt, black fingerless gloves, and a black sweat shirt. Tightening the stings to make sure the hood kept all sun off my face and sticking my hands in my pocket, I walked out the door and proceeded at a run to the school.
Kids looked at me strangely as I walked up. They looked appalled that I was about to walk into their school. Another boy with slate colored hair was walking up at the same time, and I didn't see him until I walk into him.
I fell on my but, hands flying out of my pockets and hood bouncing off. I flinched quickly, getting ready for a quick run for cover, but found that I landed in the shade anyway. Breathing a sigh of relief, I stood up. I heard some girls whisper how shocked they were that I was a girl, and they talked about how pale my skin was. Some said it was just the dark clothes, while others said I was nearly white.
"Hey, sorry 'bout that." I said to the guy, standing up. "Wasn't looking where I was going."

Yay! First post (man, I finally caught up)! ^_^ Continue?
We carried the equipment back to the van. Everything hurt. I really didn’t want to come back to this school so soon but this was my job. Emiko took me home.
“Are you sure that you don’t want me to take you back? I can just ...

I stared down at the little baby in my arms, “now what am I supposed to do with you?” I couldn’t stand the thought of leaving him with someone else, but being an orphan, I wasn’t sure I’d be able to take...

Sorry to interrupt our awesome posts, but I have a few announcements to make.
*Just thought you would all like to know that I updated the points! IF you reached over a hundred points, you can have another character! Does anyone have any suggestions for what the rewards will be for reaching 200/300/400/ etc points?
If you still have 20 points, that means you haven't posted, and it would be great if you could start posting so we can get you into the story*
First, I'd like to start off by welcoming all the new members we have been getting lately. Thank you to all that have been posting and commenting! I think this is one of the few role play worlds where people are actually religiously commenting on everyone's post. It's really rewarding to see what everyone has to say about your post, so thanks!
Second, I'd like to thank Kratos Cruxis for the Story So Far, which is a valuable link to visit if you are at all confused. I appreciate the help, as I would probably have a hard time keeping it up to date. Also, KC has created the awesome banner that is currently in the intro. Kutos to you! So, if everyone could thank her, that would be great.
Next order of business. I have noticed that a few people have drawn their characters, which is really great. I encourage everyone to do so! I'll post links to your pictures in the intro if you all are interested in that. And beings I don't have a scanner, I can't upload my pictures. If anyone is interested in drawing my characters for me, that would be wonderful!
Someone has given me a really great idea for our first contest... Interviews! Your mission? Interview your characters. Ask them anything. The point is to be funny and keep me interested! The winner will be announced on April 1. Well, that's the plan anyway.
So, if you have any questions, comments, or concerns let me know! Keep up the good work everyone!
