Nino brought his cigarette up to his lips and mildly leaned on the wall of the building. The sun was already going down, but it didn’t seem to face the black haired ghost hunter who simply moved one leg back to rest on the wall as well. Rap ...

~Mari~
“Mari, this is the twelfth time we’ve had to talk to you about your clothing,” the principle looked sternly at me.
I smiled my most adorable smile, “I know that I’ve been told that my clothing doesn’t meet the uniform requirements, but I don’t feel comfortable in anything else. Besides, I don’t even own a uniform.”
The principle blushed slightly, “well I guess, it should be ok for a while longer.” I grinned to myself, works every time.
“Thank you miss,” I smiled and left the office.
“Mari that wasn’t very good thing to do. Why don’t you just buy a uniform?” I turned towards Nami, my best friend, who was also a ghost.
I grinned at her, “no way. What so bad about wearing Lolita to school anyway?” Nami sighed and shook her head. I was about to ask her what her problem was, when I felt someone put their hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see the principle staring at me. I gulped, “Uh, yes miss? I though you said the uniform was ok?
“Who were you just talking to?” she asked me.
I quickly glanced at Nami, “no one miss.”
I could tell she didn’t believe, but what would be the worst thing that could happen? She might think I’m a little crazy, and that I talk to myself. “Please meet me in my office after school,” she told me. I was about to complain, when she put her hand up to stop me. “No excuses, I want you there.” She quickly gripped my shoulder, before making her way back to her office.
“What was that all about?” I asked Nami.
She looked just as confused as I was, “I don’t know. But I think I heard her say something about ghost hunters to one of the teachers this morning.” We were both silent for a moment, but then I shrugged it off. I’d find out the truth after school.

I hope it’s ok that I made the private school be Mari’s
I sat in my office, shuffling through some reports of the last case I had taken about a haunting in an old warehouse. It had turned out to be some punks playing games to scare out the police from raiding their drug stash. But, I had to file the paper work, even on bogus cases such as this.
I sighed as I leaned back in my chair. But, I wasn't able to get to comfortable as the phone rang then. I grabbed it after the first ring, "Paranormal Researchers," I said. "This is Emiko."
"Hello, I am calling in regards to a haunting I would like to hire you for," the female voice informed me.
I took down the notes of where it was located and that it was at a private school, hurting some of the students. I could ask her all kinda of questions when I arrived. "I'll be there this afternoon," I assured her.
"I also hired others as well," she told me. "Not that I doubt your abilities, but I just want to make sure."
As much as I hated working with none PR (Paranormal Researchers) employees, I guessed it couldn't be helped. Nothing I said would change her mind. "I understand. Bye." Hanging up the phone, I got up and walked into the other room where Ryuu was working on listening to some tapes.
"Hey! Ryuu, want to take on a case?" I asked as I started grabbing some of the equipment off of the shelves.
"Do I?" I finished what he was doing and was up helping me carry everything to the car.
Once everything was in the car, I threw him the keys. Just as I was about to get into the passenger seat, I heard my name being called out. Turning, I saw it was Aisling. I young girl that lived around here. I had worked with her on numerous occasions.
She waved, smiling at me as she run up to me, "Where are you going?" she asked, her voice always so soft and quiet.
"Got a case," I told her.
"Really? Me too," she smiled and informed me that she had the same case as Ryuu and I did.
"Why don't we give her a ride," Ryuu suggested, opening the backdoor of the van for her to hop in.
Aisling nodded and got in and we were off to this private school that was secluded in the woods. I wondered just whom the other people they had hired would be. Hopefully none that would get in my way.
