“AISLING!” I shouted throwing the ice pack at the darkness and running over to her. I grabbed her shirt so she wouldn’t feel the pain and pulled her up off the ground “We need to get out of here now.” I pulled her out of the room.
“But Ryuu your injuries.” She said striating her self out and running just behind me.
“They don’t matter right now.” I completely lied actually every step I took hurt like I bitch but I wasn’t going to say that to her. The last thing I needed was for her to be worried about me even more than what she already was.
“We have to find Mari.” I said quickly turning a corner.
“Why?” Aisling asked me.
“She doesn’t know what demons are. And if she doesn’t know then do you think she’s going to have any idea on how to fight them?” I answered running faster.
“Leave me alone!” We heard her scream.
She was surrounded by the demons. I charged at the demon.
“Hey shit for brains.” I shouted at the one in front of me and round housed it in the side of the head. “Back off.” I got in a fighting stance and I was able to morph my spiritual pressure into gauntlets and shin guards.
The gargoyle looking demon stood up and beard its teeth and claws at me.
“I like close combat anyways.” I smirked as the demon charged at me.
I punched it into the wall and another one came at me from behind. I swung my foot back and ended in a hand stand as I kicked the demon into the air.
“DIE!” I shouted as I jumped into the air and punched into forcefully into the ground.
The demon dissolved into the floor.
“Aisling take Mari and get out if her now!” I shouted fiercely. My injuries were the least of my problems it felt as if they I had never gotten injured in the first place.
“But…?” Aisling began to argue.
“NO LEAVE NOW!” I ordered punching another demon.
Aisling ran over to Mari and grabbed her wrist “Come on.” She pulled her away.
A gargoyle tried going after them but I shot a claw a spiritual pressure at it and threw it in the opposite direction.
“Why the hell do they keep coming?” I muttered to myself ‘It’s not from mine and Nino’s fight earlier is it?’
“Damn it, damn it, damn!” I snarled as I kept punching and kicking the demons away.
Something laughed in the darkness and the gargoyles moved aside. A tall man appeared out of the darkness.
“Who are you?” I said sharply and the figure who was still lingering in the dark.
“Now Ryuu that’s rude don’t you remember your own father?” He stepped out of the darkness.
I got my ice blue eyes from him and the slate hair from my mother.
“D-dad?!” I whispered in shock. “But how? Why?”
“It’s simple actually son I am the devil.” He answered shrugging his shoulders at me.
My heart felt like it stopped.
