‘Nino get away.’ I thought staring at his blank face.
“So this is where you have been hiding out?” Nino spat sharply at my father. “I’ll end you then.” And Nino quickly moved towards me and my father. Nino changed his gun into a long saber within seconds. My father pushed me out of the way and then jumped out of the way himself an evil smile plastered on his face.
“What the hell are you doing?” I screamed at Nino. Which wasn’t the best idea I had because I was right next to me, making him glare at me.
“You should keep your eyes on your own opponent.” My father said slamming his foot into Nino’s gut causing him to stumble back.
Nino grunted and stood up strait again.
“And just what do we have here? A Shaman? I thought they were supposed to be peaceful with spirits.” My dad asked.
“No.” Nino replied glaring at him.
“Stop!” I shouted at Nino “Don’t fight!”
“Hah… Ryuu, I will talk with you once I get this nuisance out of the way,” he said sharply at me “Now as for you….”
Nino growled at my father and then shifted his saber into his gun again effortlessly. He shot several shot at him and my father just brushed them off like they were nothing. Then my father snapped his fingers and demons melted from the walls and the floor and grabbed Nino but didn’t devour him.
“Now what should I do with you?” My father casually walked over to Nino and clutched his jaw to make Nino star strait at him. “I could have them kill you or I can take your black heart and manipulate it to my will.” He snickered.
“Father Stop this just let Nino go he has nothing to do with this!” I shouted pushing him away from Nino and standing in between them.
“Why do you protect this worthless human?” He asked me.
“Because whether you like it or not I’m a human as well and I’ll protect a human or ghost.” I answered sternly not moving an inch. “All my life I’ve been the quiet one. Now I’m making up for that.”
“Son you were never like your sisters and never will be. You’re different from any other human around even him.” My father said with a bit of enthusiasm in his voice. Then his placed a hand on my shoulder. “I’ll catch you around.” He snapped his fingers and the demons and he just suddenly vanished. The darkness in the school lifted.
‘But why? What happened that day of the crash?’ I thought as I fell to my knees. “This can’t be happening. It just can’t.” I muttered gripping my pants.
