Heredity

I didn’t want to turn around. “This is that emblem of a demon lord.” I said as I place a foot back towards Aisling and Puck. “It’s the crest of my father.” I stared her strait in the eyes.
She looked away from me. I walked up to her and Puck got in between us again.
“Don’t touch her.” He ordered me.
“Get back in your card or go and shut your trap.” I pushed him out of the way and placed my hands on her shoulders Aisling look at me.”
She kept her eyes at the floor.
“I said look at me.” I placed a hand on her jaw and lifted up her face so she would look at me. “I’m still the same Ryuu that you know and laugh at. I still run into walls and trip over my own two feet.” I got her to look me in the eyes now. “I promise I won’t hurt you or Em or anyone. I’ll never do anything that will put you in harms way…” I thought about that last part. “Okay that last part’s a lie I’ve already put you in danger.” I laughed sheepishly letting go of Aisling. The lights went out and it was pitch black. My eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness and I looked around.
“Here it goes again.” I muttered. “Aisling I’m taking you back to home base with me around they should touch you.” I grabbed her wrist. “Puck you better fly fast or I’ leaving you behind.” Then I ran with Aisling right behind me.
“Ryuu slow down I can’t run that fast.” She said.
I came to a quick stop and she ran into my back.
“What’s wrong…” She asked.
“Shhh.” I told her pulling her farther behind my back.
We heard clapping coming down the hall.
“I see you’re not as slow as a normal human anymore Ryuu. That’s very good.” My father seemed quite proud that my heredity from him was kicking in.

That’s all I could think of and now I’m gong to bed night night.
