“And… it smells like fire.” Matsu’s eyes widened as he suddenly breathed out.
“Ryuu, we will be talking about this latter” she said. “But we have bigger problems at the moment.” I tried not to look at her.
“What do you mean?” Elle asked.
“Something’s here. Something powerful.” Em answered
“Indeed,” Matsu answered back putting a hand on his head.
Suddenly, a giant bird came flying straight from behind. The bird dove forwards and slashed straight at Mastu. The white haired man didn’t have time to recoil before sharp talons dove their way into the white haired man’s skin. Mastu suddenly formed a katana was got it front of him blocking the bird from attacking. In that half second, I recoiled and attacked the bird it suddenly exploded into a nothingness of feathers when I connected with it. However, just as this happened, the air in the room began to swirl and increase pushing people back. Matsu brought his arm up to block the wind which was a smart idea. Zoey appeared to try and run for it, but the demon bird creature formed in front of the door and smiled at her.
"Oh! A waste of precious air! Eventually you'll have to breathe!" the demon sang. I stared at Zoey, she had finally snapped, and with a sudden movement, she tore straight at the demon. The woman screamed out, and as though her power had suddenly met a resistor, the feathers that had formed a cage were suddenly destroyed and fell to the floor. Then Zoey turned towards us. Mastu was bleeding badly and she was still on her blood rage. She jumped towards us and some how I got in front of Matsu and was able to block Zoey from getting any closer to everyone else.
“Zo-ey that’s enough.” I shouted forcing myself to make her feet start sliding across the floor and into the lockers. “Snap out of it.”
“Get out of my way.” She snarled at me started to get her self off the lockers I just pushed her into.
I slammed her back against them. “No.” My eyes glowed again and this was new I could feel my canine teeth extending. “Calm down and think of something else.” I could feel I new cut forming in my arm.
Zoey immediately smelled my blood and seemed to find more strength and pushed me off of her so hard I slammed into the lockers across the hall. My head bashed against the lockers and I regained my balance right away and grabbed her again before she could touch Mastu.
“Em, Kaki get Mastu out of here and back to home base.” I ordered as Zoey tried to pry my arms off her legs.
“Just be careful.” Em said.
“I’m fine.” Mastu coughed trying to get up on his own.
“Just let them take you to home base I don’t care if you walk there on your own just get going I don’t know how much longer I can last.” I shouted as Zoey kicked me in the gut.
They got Mastu to start heading to home base. And they soon walked out of sight.
“Zoey calm down.” I tried again but my strength was fading fast.
She relaxed and the muscles in her legs loosened under me.
“I’m going to let go now.” I said letting go of her legs and getting onto my knees.
“Thank you.” She said at last her nails and eye’s were back to normal.
I took my feet out from under me and sat down. My teeth were back to normal and I felt like I couldn’t move. “Any time. Lets not make to many though. I know I’m a Moratorium but my body can only handle so much.” I said wanting to fall asleep. “I know you don’t want to but it would probably be best if you went home, the suns going to come up in an hour and we don’t have school tomorrow.” I told her.
After some conflict she finally agreed to go. The new demon lord that I’ve never sensed before was mixing with Nino’s. I slowly got to my feet and made my way towards the spiritual pressures. I got there and a little girl with orange hair appeared in front of me.
“Do you want to play a game with me?” She asked.
“You’re a demon aren’t you?” I asked.
“Get out of here!” Nino shouted at me then focused back on his fight.
“You’re a smart little boy, since Sylphy is playing with emo I’ll play with you.” She smiled and slammed an arm into my side. I caught my self on the lockers before my entire body could slam into them. “Come on why can’t you be more fun to play with you’re not even fighting back.” She kicked me down on to the ground and stepped on my back and it felt like she was going to snap it in half.
“Ahhh…” I groaned trying to grab the tiles.
She flipped me over and started kicking my side. I grabbed her foot before shoe could kick me for a forth time and tripped her. I placed my right hand on her throat and changed my left into a claw.
“Try and kill me I dare you.” I smirked
