Takara walked over to Ryuu and I with her arm hooked around Elle’s. “Elle agreed to help with the party.” Kara chirped, though Elle looked a little to smug for her own good.
Taiki walked over to us as well and rested his arms on Takara’s shoulders and placed his head on top of hers. “The more we have helping the better.” He said.
I could tell they were trying to get me to volunteer, but no way was I doing that. “Well then you have fun Elle,” I smiled at her.
“Your helping too, Elle said you would be happy to help," Kara informed me happily. That's why Ell looked so smug, because she figured she had me roped into helping as well, and she knew how much I hated that sort of thing. Elle was going to get it.
“Come on Em you can help me clean my room or something," Ryuu pulled me away from Elle and the others. I was still glaring at Elle, ready to pounce if she made the slightest movement.
“Just ask her out already!” Taiki shouted, bringing a smile to my lips. It was nice to know others thought we should be together too.
Ryuu got all embarrassed, his face turning a bright red as he pulled me out of the room without looking back at Taiki or the others. “I am not helping you clean your room," I told him. Cleaning was my least favorite thing to do, ever.
“It’s clean anyways; I just said something to get you away from Elle before you decided to knock her lights out.” Ryuu informed me, smiling at me. He knew me all too well.
And just because I could enjoy a little entertainment “You’re still blushing,” I smirked.
“I am not.” Ryuu insisted, his voice a little higher than normal.
“Then why are you still holding my hand?” I'm pretty sure I was still smirking, I was just having way too much fun.
Ryuu let go of my hand quickly. I couldn't hold down the laugh that escaped my lips. “You are so gullible sometimes Ryuu.” I told him as I started walking ahead of him for a moment.
I slowed down enough to let him catch up. "Let's just get to your place. Your bed sounds really great right now." I stopped and heard how that sounded. "I mean to rest on. You know, because I haven't slept on a bed in a few nights." Wow, I sounded dumb.
I cleared my throat quickly and headed to the parking lot. My van was parked right where I had left it. I hated the van, but it was more sensible to have a van. I could carry more equipment this way. I wanted a Truck or a sweet, fast car. But, a sports car raised insurance, and I was barely making ends meet the way it was.
I hopped into the driver's seat, Ryuu in the passenger seat, and I took off. It didn't take long to arrive at his house. I had been to his place on more than one occasion, so much so that I felt right at home. It was like my second home, basically.
Ryuu went to the fridge. "Want anything to drink?" he asked me.
I nodded. "Sure, you know what I like." I headed up to Ryuu's room, throwing myself onto his bed. It felt so good after a night of sitting against the wall. I yawned, but sat up when I felt like I was going to fall asleep. No. No sleeping for me. Today was all about Ryuu.
