Aisling ran after the dark haired boy that was chasing the ghost. Did that guy know who or what he was chasing. He could see ghosts that was for sure. When Aisling felt something something caught her ankle and fell forward and collided into the dark hair boy. And they both fell to the floor.
'What the...what grabbed me?' Aisling looked down and saw a yo-yo wrapped around her ankle. She looked up and saw the ghost had stopped running and saw him shaking with laughter. 'Why that little...'
“Owwwww… what the heck…..” groaned a voice and Aisling looked down and saw she was practically sitting on the dark haired boy. "Get off..."
"Ack!" Aisling got up and moved away to give him room. "Sorry sorry..." He stood up and looked over at the ghost who was still standing there watching them. Aisling knew he wanted to play with him. He liked messing with those that have the ability to see him mostly adults. Most of the young children at the hospital could see him but Aisling suspected that. Most people could see spirits at very young ages which caused the excuses of 'imaginary friends' and then they usually grow out of it.
"It's fine," The dark haired boy said to her and he was still watching the ghost. Aisling saw how he kept an eye on the ghost so this meant he really does have the ability to see spirits.
"Aisling?" Someone called her name. Aisling looked and saw the Mari and Kaki. But it wasn't them that called out to her but Ian.
"Ian?" Aisling said as Ian hurried over to her. She sensed that he was in serious distress and it was even clear on his face. "What's wrong?"
"It's Resa, she's lapse deeper into the coma." He said frantically
Aisling bit her lip and cast her eyes down. She knew Resa hadn't been doing very well. At first it was either she's in a deep coma or she's in a very deep sleep and it appeared she could wake up at any minute. So Aisling tried to bring wake her up but she's only manage into bringing her more out of the coma but she hadn't woken up yet. Once Aisling stays away from her for awhile Resa falls deeper into a coma. No one hadn't figure out the connections yet not even Ian who was beside Resa almost every day.
"Do you want me to see her?" Aisling asked going straight to the point.
Ian nodded. "If you're not too busy...I know your working."
"It's fine," Aisling glanced back at the ghost who had crossed his arms over his chest. He was annoyed that Ian interrupted them but he was still there. "I'll take a brake."
"Thanks Aisling," Ian smiled gratefully and Aisling smiled back.
Ian left and Aisling turned to Mari and Kaki. "Do you guys want to come or do you want to continue ghost hunting?"
Mari looked at her and nodded. "Sure is Resa going to be all right?"
Aisling looked away and sighed, "To be honest I don't know."
She followed Ian and went to the fourth floor where Resa's room was. She entered the lobby of the four floor and saw that there were several nurses and doctors hurrying around in a confused panic.
"Hey what's going on?" Aisling asked at the nurse who was about to enter the elevator that she had just got off.
"One of our patients went missing!" The nurse said. "It's impossible! She couldn't have got up and walked out of here. There's no way."
"Why? Who is it?"
"The patient is Teresa Wong...oh wait you know her don't you. You're almost a regular as Ian."
Aisling stared at the nurse in complete shock. "Resa is missing?!"
"Yes and she was said to have lapsed deeper into the coma. It's insane! For someone who has been in a coma for almost a year it's impossible for them to get up and go. They would have a lot of trouble remembering how to move their bodies. So there's only one possibility that she was kidnapped."
Aisling put a hand on her head in shock. "Kidnapped...who would kidnapped her?" She looked at the nurse. "Where's Ian?" The nurse pointed over the corner of the waiting room and Ian was pacing around talking to his cell phone.
Aisling hurried over to him and tried to bump into a passing nurse or doctor. "Ian?"
"Aisling!..sorry hold on a minute." Ian held his cellphone to his shoulder. "I'm glad you're here. Resa's missing!"
"I know," Aisling said feeling very sorry for him and Resa's family who Ian was most likely talking to on the phone. "I can't believe this happened. Could she really be kidnapped?"
"I don't know," Ian scratched his head. "Well...Mr. Wong is an FBI agent." He as if it wasn't exactly that important.
'Wha...well that's a good reason I guess,' Aisling thought dryly. 'Holy crap this place is going to be swarming by the police! I better tell Mari and Kaki. But she doesn't have a cell phone.'
"Excuse me Aisling I have to talk to Mr. Wong." Ian said. Aisling nodded and walked away.
Could Resa really be kidnapped? Aisling hope she was alright. Aisling was lost in thought for a few minutes until something caught her eye. It was a butterfly. In a hospital? It was white and almost glowing and looking at it made the hair on her arms stood up. There was something strange about it. Then Aisling found herself following the butterfly. She followed it up the stares and then it seemed like only nano-second when she found herself on the roof.
"Huh?" Aisling looked around confused. Then she saw a woman standing a few feet away with her back to her. She recognized the long jet black hair and the light pink hospital gown. "Resa...?" Aisling said staring at the back of the dark haired woman. Was that really her?
The woman slowly turned around and when she was facing directly at Aisling did she looked into the woman's bright green eyes. Wait...Resa's eyes are dark brown...When Aisling stared into the bright green eyes she didn't see the face of Teresa Wong but someone she hadn't seen in many years.
"N-Nana?" Aisling said shocked she staggered backwards and almost feel down. "Wha...how?!"
The woman no longer looked like Resa but Áine O'Connor Aisling grandmother. But she didn't look like the old granny that Aisling knew most of her young childhood but more like the beautiful young woman she had seen in her dreams. Áine looked at her with vague eyes and then they cleared up and a smile broke over her pale angelic face. "Aisling!" She laughed a light musically laugh that had always made Aisling smile but there was something too ethereal about it and it send her chills.
Áine ran over to her with wobbly steps and threw her arms around Aisling. "I'm so happy to see you again and in the flesh this time!"
Aisling gasped as she was held in a bone crushing that was worse than her mother's deathly hugs. "N-nana...you're crushing me..!"
"Oh! Sorry!" she released her hold on her. "My goodness! You're becoming into a lovely little lady." Áine said in admiration. Then she eyed Aisling's chest. "But you're seriously lacking a decent rack."
"Nana!" Aisling exclaimed in embarrassment covering her chest and turning red. Her grandmother laughed. Aisling frowned at her. Was this really her grandmother she didn't remember her being so carefree and bold. "How have you been doing?" Áine asked her. "Last I check you were at that school fighting demons. I wasn't able to visit your dreams because I had some business here."
Aisling said nothing but stared at the red head. Áine looked at her blankly and cocked her head to the side and looked very cute at that moment. "What is it dear?"
"How...how can you be here?" Aisling said. "You're suppose to have already crossed over. Your dead!"
Áine laughed again and again Aisling was irked by the sound. "Dear heart you know I was never really dead and gone. I was reborn remember? The day I gave you your tarot deck?"
Aisling stared and nodded quietly. "Reborn what do you mean?" Spirits being reborn after death. She had read about them. They became humans again, or animals, or demons, or angels. "What are you..."
"What do you think?" Áine said grinning slyly.
"...an angel..."
"Ding ding ding that's correct!" Áine said giggling. "You were always quick to grasp things. Got that from me." She grinned. "But you've changed from the fiery spirited child I knew last time I was mortal to a wall flower but that's understandable after what you've been through." She said lightly.
Aisling looked away. Not likely where the conversation was going so she changed the subject. "Do you know where Resa is? Teresa Wong she's a patient here. It's weird for a moment I thought she was you..." Aisling voice trailed off as she the uncomfortable look on Áine's and the feelings of guilt she was sensing. "No...you didn't."
"Haha like I said always quick to catch on. I think it might has something to do with Empathic powers are you still at that sponge stage?"
"Don't change the subject!" Aisling snapped.
"You changed first," Áine muttered pouting. "And don't talk to your grandmother like that." She said suddenly very stern and the diamond shape of her pupils were more visible. Aisling tensed looking into her eyes and looked away. "I...I can't believe you did that. Possessing an innocent human."
"What's done is done." Áine she said somberly. "I had no choice but to transfer my soul in this human shell. I had come out drained from battling a hoard of demons last night when I was trying to reach you and nearly died. So I had to borrow this body until I regain my strength."
Aisling looked at her grandmother the shock and anger fading away. "Okay I understand but did you had to leave the bed? Everyone's in a uproar."
"Oh..." she looked around and cursed in a language that Aisling recognized as ancient Gaelic. "How did this happened?" She rubbed her temples in aggravation. "The others' are going to be hopping mad about this."
"Others?"
"Oh not now I'll tell you later. But first..." Áine cupped her hands over her mouth and blow. A milky white cloud appeared and floated over their heads. Then the cloud expanded until it looked like it had covered the entire building.
"What did you do?" Aisling said
"I used a memory erasing spell," Áine explained walking over to the door that lead to the stairs. "Only used this in emergency cases like this one. Wouldn't be a good idea if the suits got involved. It only affect humans who have low spiritual pressure so you and the other ghost seers are in the clear."
Aisling followed her grandmother to the fourth floor. The people they had passed by had seemed to be frozen in time with vacant look on their faces. They stopped at Resa's room and Áine climb into bed and suddenly all the wires and censors were attached to her. "I'll see you later," Áine said winking at Aisling, she lie down and closed her eyes. When her eyes closed it was Resa's face not Áine's.
The fog had disappeared and it looked liked it was back to normal. The hospital staff went to work with an undisturbed air. Ian walked into the room who was still on his cell phone. "Yeah everything's fine....well as usual...uh huh she's sleeping like an angel." Ian smiled at the comatose form of Resa.
'You don't know the half of it.' Aisling thought feeling a smile threatening to break her face.
Ian hung up and looked at Aisling, "Everything alright Aisling?"
"Yeah," Aisling said
Aisling left a few moments later and had wondered into the first floor. Where are those two? Aisling thought and she turned and saw Mari, Kaki and the dark haired boy running away from the ghost who wielded two water guns.
"Okay that's enough!" Aisling said to the ghost. The ghost stopped to look at Aisling and she felt him staring at her for some reason. "What?" Then the butterfly appeared again. It fluttered over to the ghost and the ghost reached his hand out to touch it. When he touched it a warm gentle light covered him. The mask disappeared revealing the boy's face. He blinked and a peaceful smile painted across his face and he was gone. He didn't just disappeared but had crossed over.
Aisling watched the butterfly fly away, 'Did Nana had something to do with that?' she thought and smiled
"Is he gone?" She heard Kaki said. She turned to look at and them and laughed when she saw they were wet.
"Good riddance!" Mari exclaimed angrily. "Hey Aisling. Did you know what that brat did?"
"What?"
"He tried to lock us up in the morgue!"
"Oh..."
"I don't think I'll sleep easily tonight or tomorrow night..." Mari said rubbing her temples. Kaki looked confused. He probably didn't know what a morgue is used for. Aisling looked at the dark haired boy and was watching the butterfly with a curious look.
"Hi how are you?" Aisling said. "Are you the other ghost hunter?"
"Huh?" He looked at her blankly. "Ah yes. I'm Aiba."
"He was the one that got us out of...that place." Mari said and shuddered.
"Since there's no ghost I don't see a reason to stick around." The boy named Aiba said. "Well...later then." He left.
Aisling looked for the butterfly and saw that it was gone. "Wow what a day." Aisling said to herself. She looked at her watch. It was a few hours from Ryuu's party. "Come on guys." Aisling said. "It's Ryuu's birthday today and I need to do last minute shopping."

kay that's it. My next post will be Aisling getting a birthday present and going to the party. Were Mari and Kaki invited?
So now we have angels. If they are going to be seven demon lords they're should be seven angels to help out the ghost seers. I'm making several angels dose anyone want to help me create some?
