I walked over and took a seat on my bed and looked at the floor. I heard Emiko walk over to me and she took a seat in front of me. "Ryuu." She said and naturally I looked up.
She caught me completely off guard and kissed me. When we broke apart, "Quit apologizing." She said and did it again; I didn’t expect her to do it again. Pulling apart, she whispered, "Happy Birthday."
“Thank you.” I whispered back and gently kissed her soft lips.
I brought my hands up to her face and kissed her deeply. I held it for 10 seconds and released. She gasped for air. I let out a light laugh.
“Sorry.” I smiled.
“I said stop apologizing.” Em told me.
“I’m….” I stopped myself before I could finish the sentence. “Maybe we should go down stairs.” I Stated backing up from her.
She grabbed my hand and pulled me out of my room. There was a knock at the door.
“I’ll get it.” I shouted letting go of Em’s hand and running to the door.

“Well I guess I’m not going in the house.”I sighed standing on top of a telephone pole. “I never realized how good of a view you have up here.” I glanced over my shoulder and sensed Nino and Matsu coming. “I might just want to leave until the end of the party.” I muttered to a little blue bird that was resting on one of the lines right next to me. “You can’t even see me let alone hear me.” I looked down at it then rubbed my temples “wow I need to get out more.” Then I decided to go somewhere else for a while. ‘Nothing changes does it?’ I looked around at the down town area. I got out of the way of the rush of people. It felt strange not having people being able to see me; but I would just have to get used to it. I wasted time until about 10 then I walked back to the house maybe now I can talk to my son without any interruptions.
