A Fake Smile

“Where did Em go.” Ryuu commented after putting the scroll up. Matsu's head turned slightly.

“Who are you looking for Ryuu?” Matsu asked placing a relaxed smile on his visage.

“Have you seen Emiko any where?” Ryuu asked, and both men started into the kitchen. Matsu put his hands on the back of his head trying to remember the last time he had seen the red head. She had been there but what a second ago.....I wonder..... Matsu thought to himself, and suddenly his yellow eyes expanded for a split second before relaxing again. From before... she's looking for answers then.... probably went after Nino too since he seemed to run out quick enough... damn the facade..... As Ryuu turned to face the white haired man again, Matsu blinked for a moment and then half laughed.

“…No actually I haven’t seen her for a while actually," Matsujun answered back shaking his head.

"M....m....m... what's the idea of waking me up?" a voice yawned within the white haired man's head. "You already know what's going on... shesh...."

"Just... wanted to confirm it..." Matsu's thoughts echoed back in his own head. So then there was no mistake.... Matsu found a dark visage was already starting to set itself on his contour, and with great effort, the white haired man managed to replace the smile on his lips while Ryuu was turned around and getting water.

“Ow.” Ryuu said aloud causing Matsu to turn his head to one side.

“What’s wrong?” Matsu asked carefully keeping his voice in the light manor that it was normally in.

“I just got shocked on the glass, which is weird I didn’t skid my feet across the floor. Anyways what was up with Nino?” Ryuu answered after a moment. He turned around and leaned back on the bar of the counter eying Matsu lightly. The white haired man half laughed and leaned back on the other side of the bar.

“I’m not sure actually," Matsu said allowing himself to sigh.

"You suck at lying light boy..." the ghost's voice was so loud in Matsu's head that he nearly cringed.

“You’re lying to me I know it," Ryuu answered back. Matsu felt his face fall completely into what could only be described as a grimace for a full moment. However, Ryuu didn't seem to catch this, and Matsu was able to regain his composure once more. Ryuu set down his drink and leaned over the counter as though about to divulge some extreme secret of the universe.

“Don’t worry about it Ryuu.” Matsu half whispered back taking a bottle of water out of the ice bin carefully opening it. Taking a sip, Matsu tried to forced the water down his throat.

“I’m going to worry about it something’s wrong with Em and now she’s not here. I can’t even sense her. It’s almost as if she’s completely disappeared," Ryuu stated aloud.

Matsu’s smile cracked, and suddenly his visage was all in a sharp twist of knots. He set down the water once more and did not bother to plaster the smile back on his face. He looked sharply at Ryuu, and the slate haired man seemed to recoil realizing that he had just seen Nino's normal expression pasted on Matsu's face.

"There is nothing that can be done about it at this time," Matsu said as his voice dropped an octave. However, in the short seconds after, Matsu was able to reconfigure his face into somewhat of a smile. Yet his eyes would not comply with this, and it formed into something of a crossed personality.

"You know something then," Ryuu answered as though he had won on some confirmed level.

"I know a lot of things," Matsu answered back as he swirled the water in his drink. "And Emiko... is very unlucky...." he said after another moment.

"What do you mean?" Ryuu demanded sharply. "Where is she?"

"Learning," Matsu answered back not making eye contact with Ryuu any longer. "I sense Sho-kun is around as well......" Suddenly Matsu's eyes widened again. "Where is Aisling?" he asked looking around.
