~Sephira
I looked up at the girl who had woken me. She seemed kind enough. My stomach growled loudly, and I gave an embarrassed giggle. I stood up, realizing how extremely sore I was. Flinching, she gave me a "you're sure you're okay?" look. I just smiled back. Brushing the hair out of my face, she seemed satisfied.
"Nice tatoo." she said. It took me a second to realize what she meant. I hadn't really talked to normal human life in so long, I was use to people referring to them as marking. "Oh, thanks!" Once again my stomach growled loudly. Looking at her, then my stomach, I sighed. "There no avoiding an empty belly... You wouldn't happen to know somewhere cheep, would you? I only have..." I dug in my pocket for change. I pulled out 2 quarters, 5 nickles, 8 pennies, and a dime. "Uh... 93 cents?" I didn't realized I was THAT dirt poor! Man, people hadn't given me real work in FOREVER!
"Well, why don't you come with me?" she said, obviously slightly shocked that that was all I had. Or maybe she thought I was a junky. I'm no junky! Dx Maybe she'll take me to the police! They'll run a drug test! I DON'T WANT THEM TO DRAW BLOOD! TT0TT Wait! Sephira! We gotta play this cool. We're jumping to conclusions! Just play it smooth and convince her otherwise!
"Yeah, business is hard these days..." I said, following her.
"What do you do?" she asked.
"I'm a ghost hunter and paranormal crime solver!" I said happily. Then I nearly smacked myself. Now she's really gonna take you in! They'll lock you up in an insane asylum! You're gonna get stuck with living AND dead crazies! >.<

Yeah... she's a bit paranoid of normal people taking her in. And of blood sampling... >.> Even though she's been cut up, burn, nearly died, and scared so bad she soiled her pants. She also doesn't like awkward situations...
