~Emiko's POV~
Sho left Ryuu and I standing there staring at the ground, unsure of what to say to the other. Sho.... what was his real agenda by showing up here? Then I remembered what Elle had told me earlier about Ryuu. The demon lord’s plan on making Ryuu their secret weapon
I turned to Ryuu. "It appears there are things you aren't telling me," I told him. I was getting a little worked up, but I had to remind myself that I myself had kept things from him, like the voices. But, I had come clean, I reminded myself.
Ryuu looked up at my quickly, as if he was about to save face, to explain to me what he had been keeping from me.
But, I cut him off. "Elle's vision was right. You're the secret weapon for the demon lords!" I shook my head. "What does this mean?" I glanced up at him, questions lining my face. I had gotten answers from Nino and now had more questions unanswered.
Ryuu frowned. "Wait, Elle had a vision? Since when can she do that?"
I shook my head impatiently. "Since just last night, I guess. She saw you in a meeting with these demon lords, and you were told you were a secret weapon." I stopped short, hearing the voice in my head going off. "I can't talk about this now. I need..." I stopped short when the whispering got louder. "I need to be alone right now." I stumbled forward.
Ryuu looked shocked and shaken. "Wait, Em, let me explain!" he looked up at me, pleading with me to give him another chance.
I rubbed my temples. "Ryuu, I believe you had a reason you were keeping it all from me, but right now, I really have to go. Call me tomorrow." I started walking off.
"Let me walk you home, at least," he offered, running to my side.
"No!" the voice in my head screamed, and I found I was repeating what it said outloud. I shook my head. "Sorry for yelling, but I just want to go for a walk, take in everything, ok?"
I stumbled off, leaving Ryuu alone behind me. I glanced up and around when the voice stopped for a moment to realize I didn't know the downtown area real well, and I was a little confused as to where I was. It was getting a little dark out as well, so I was growing a little jittery to get home.
Turning a corner, I found myself in front of Nino and some guy I didn't know. I would have turned around at that moment to try and get away, I didn't really want to deal with a moody Nino right now, not with the voice back in my head right now.
But, I was too late. He had seen me.
~Elle's POV~
As I walked to Ryuu and Kara's place, I was smiling. I had never expected her to call me, heck I hadn't expected anyone would call me. But, she had and right when I was feeling the most alone.
I knocked once on the door before she opened it, beckoning me inside. She sat me down at the kitchen table, handing me a cup of tea. I took the cup graciously. I took a sip and relished in the warm liquid as it poured down my throat.
"So, mind telling me what is bothering you?" she asked, getting straight to the point. In a way, she reminded me of Emiko.
I forced a smile. "I don't want to trouble you with anything."
"You aren't troubling me, and I have all the time in the world. Now, start talking," she smiled warmly up at me.
"Ok," I relented. I loved that I could talk to her. And so, I went in depth about my visions and all of it.
