The Things that are Wrong

It was starting to become dark out as Ohno walked the streets. Nino had sent him away, more or less, but the red haired man was completely fine with this. He had other things to do in the city as it was.... including looking into the angelic situation. As of reports, a certain girl appeared to be a pivotal point among the angels, and it had somehow twisted up to be his job to look into it. Mmm... Aisling... ugh why such a hard name to find something to do with? Shesh.... m... Slingy I guess... but I don't want to be too teasing to a woman and... ugh hm..... He continued walking and looked down occasionally at the paper Sho had given him. "Ah here we go," Ohno sighed as he turned up a road and found what appeared to be the address on the paper.

Walking up to the front door, Ohno knocked on the door a few times waiting to see who would answer.

It was morning yet it was dark. "Are you sure that Matsujun has completely disappeared?" a voice questioned from the darkness that surrounded Sho. The brown haired grizzly man simply nodded a fraction causing those around him to make muffled sounds.

"And because Doki appeared from within Nino and all but stated that Noiren had come, it is presumed that Matsu has been taken to the demonic realm," Sho answered back causing yet another group of whispers to erupt.

"And what of Doki?" a dark voice finally asked. "Has he settled back inside Nino?"

Sho turned his head downward. "I was forced to restrain Doki last night who has yet to return as Nino. He is currently being watched by Aiba."

"Then Noiren is still in the human world!" a voice shouted out causing a blast of whispers and quick talk around Sho who simply closed his eyes to it all waiting for a question from one of the shaman council members. Finally silence took over once more.

"Sho Sakurai," a voice different voice said all together. "What you have told us has caused a great fear. Are you certain that..."

"Of course he is certain. This is Sho," another voice shot the previous down on breath.

"Now then," Sho said darkly causing everyone else in the room to fall into silence. "The question remains, what shall be done for Matsujun?"

A silence fell. Sho bowed his head in understanding. The Council had no answer. There was nothing to answer to.

"Then I will release Doki and find Matsujun," Sho finally answered the silence. "Yang has a habit of finding Yin."

"Doki is the most... determined... of the vessel spirits... Sho Sakurai... if you do this... he will most likely wage a direct war on Noiren, and we will have another war."

"We are on the brink of war as it is," Sho answered back. "If we do not allow the retake of Matsujun....."

"Then he will die... but Shi will live and find another host... it is better to do nothing at this point... triggering a full scale war against the demons when we are still..."

"Let me out!" Nino's voice screamed and echoed in the apartment causing Aiba to recoil every few seconds. The dark haired boy could barely approach the disturbingly smiley back haired man who was trying desperately to pull himself off the couch that he was spiritually tied to. "I WILL KILL YOU AIBA!" Nino's voice shouted more. "LET ME OUT THIS INSTANT!"

"Sho... Sho said not to...." Aiba breathed back in a worried voice.

"Let me out now and I may not remove your spleen with your tongue," Nino hissed. "Noiren is in this world! Noiren! That damn demon! Let me out you son of a..."

"Just stop!" Aiba's voice broke as the boy yelled from across the room now. "Just silence.... bring back my brother... I hate you!"

"I'll silence when I have that demon's head on my wall!" Nino shouted back before suddenly bursting into a fit of laughter.

"Nino...." Aiba breathed.

Ryoen watched patiently as Ryuu walked off more or less pissed. Meh... if I was human now a days, I'd have congratulated him. Ryoen smirked to himself. Then again, I ain't so oh well for you, Ryuu.... The red haired demon lord resisted the urge to yawn now somewhat bored with the entire situation in general. However, suddenly a ringing noise hit Ryoen's ears causing him to look sharply over towards the sound and finding that it was coming from Ryuu. What the crap..... Ryoen said raising an eyebrow at Ryuu.

"What is that?" Ryoen asked finally as it appeared Ryuu was just about as startled as him.

"It's my cell phone." Ryuu answered pulling it out of his pocket and looking down at it. Hah... kids these days... Ryoen found himself smirking a fraction. "I didn't think I got service here," Ryuu continued as he flipped it open and stared down at it.

We don't get service in here.... Ryoen's eyes narrowed. Unless the kid was able to push back these walls of mine... then.... The Demon Lord's eyes grew for a moment before they narrowed again. "Whose it from?" He asked moving right behind Ryuu to stare down at the phone.

"It's from Em." Ryuu answered twisting away as though irritated.

Ryo sighed outwards as his once calm face seemed to become serious for a few minutes. "She'll only bring you down when the war begins you're better off forgetting about her now while your still early in the relationship." He sighed walking away. He may fight like a demon... but with a heart like that... ugh.... Ryoen found himself suddenly very disgusted. He could all but feel Ryuu's emotion on the matter of 'Em' due to his own demonic power, and it all but sickened him.

"I won't give her up like that," Ryuu's voice was sharp in manner causing Ryoen to look over his shoulder and stare for a minute. For a fraction of a moment, the demon lord's dark red hair seemed to fall over his face and appear extremely dark in nature.

"Don't be stupid," Ryoen sneered back turning around again and crossing his arms. "She's already given you up first." The red haired man's eyes flickered a dark green before turning to their normal shade of brown again.

"Wha-...." Ryuu said suddenly appearing to get angry and muscled up. "What would you know!" the slate haired boy shot back obviously irritated.

"Don't grow a heart, Kid. It ain't worth it," Ryoen sighed again. "Better to have fun than have pain." Twisting his fingers a fraction, Ryoen formed a lollipop in between his two left fingers and then proceeded to shove it into his mouth crunching down on it easily. "It's what I'm here for, and hey look how I turned out." He half grinned looking at Ryuu somewhat complacently.

Ryuu's scowl all but made Ryoen laugh. "You don't have to be so condescending you know," Ryoen rolled his eyes a bit before returning his gaze to the slate haired boy.

"Are we going to continue this or not?" Ryuu asked back causing Ryoen to blink a bit before starting to laugh a fraction.

"Not to be a pain, but I figured we'd have something to eat before we continue," Ryoen answered back, and almost instantly a kitchen surrounded them out of nowhere. "I'm actually a pretty good human food cooker," Ryoen smirked.

"What do you mean.." Ryuu started as he was staring at him in confusion.

"Well I haven't eaten human food in years," Ryoen smirked back.

"Then why did- " Ryuu started again.

"Meh, I eat souls and lesser demons," Ryoen answered back nonchalantly. "But you don't now do ya? So let me cook a bit for ya." A half grin appeared on Ryoen's face causing a confused look out of Ryuu. "I can pull of breakfast food pretty well if I do say so myself."

"Uh...." Ryuu answered back but already Ryoen had turned and started fumbling through the strange cabinets that had formed around them.

"Ryo what the blast are you doing?" Vaporaii all but hissed causing both Ryoen and Ryuu to turn heads. The female demon lord was standing where an expected door would be with her arms folded over her. "I thought you were training him."

"I am," Ryoen grinned back causing the serpent-like demon to roll her eyes a fraction. "I'm just eating first," Ryoen grinned. "Care to have breakfast with us?"

"If you get punished by Noiren. I'm going to laugh at you, Ryo," Vaporaii answered back before vanishing again. Ryoen shook his head a bit and looked back at Ryuu.

"See there? Now that's a lady you don't want to mess with," he half smirked before turning back again. "Ugh now where did that cinnamon go?" Again, Ryoen was fumbling through the cabinets.

"Nino open this door!" a voice shouted form the other side of the door causing Aiba to jump up and turn around in confusion. He had been sitting directly against the door still watching as Doki laughed like the insane when the knock had finally registered to his ears. Standing upright and starting to open the door, Aiba was quickly pushed back as Emiko all but forced herself in along with Elle. Aiba's eyes grew as he watched both girls seem to overtake him at once and stand now in the front. Emiko seemed to stare at Aiba for a minute before looking up and around the entire apartment. "Aiba where is Nino?" Emiko all but demanded. "Matsu's bee-"

"Taken," Aiba answered back before Emiko could finish. "Ya.... we know...." he said quietly averting Emiko's gaze. Suddenly the sound of laughter hit the room again causing all three participants to turn in confusion and stare at the couch. Once again, Doki was smiling complacently through Nino and laughing all but hysterically. Emiko looked from Nino to Aiba and then back to Nino.

"Well hi there Aoi," Nino's voice all but laughter. "Long time no see."

Emiko's eyes seemed to grow and suddenly narrow in confusion. Aiba moved quickly in between. "He's not Nino," Aiba breathed out causing Emiko to stop and stare at him darkly. The dark haired boy shook his head. "It'd Doki...." he said after a moment.

"Ahahahahah that wasn't nice, Aiba," Nino's voice all but hissed. "I wanted to see her reaction." Elle seemed to look in confusion at nearly everyone in the room. Nani, the wise cat whom had managed to somehow avoid all situations in the manner one of esteemed greatness could, had appeared like a shadow on the wall and started to rub up against Emiko.

"He.... has a weird aura... or something...." Elle said after a moment appearing to all but examine Nino despite the distance all three were standing away from the smiling dark haired man. "I don't think he's Nino...."

"Correct.. my name is Doki," Nino's face curled into a smirk. "A pleasure to meet you. I'd stand, but a certain bastard shamistically tied me to a couch of all things."

"Has... he been like that a while?" Emiko asked in confusion.

"Ya...." Aiba answered back shaking his head a fraction. "Sho's supposed to be coming back... soon... I hope...."

"Where...am...I" Matsujun breathed out again all but afraid that someone would actually answer him. He was in pain, to say the least of things.. and his entire sense understood almost instantly where he was.

Great going smart one... you got yourself caught.... the vessel spirit all but rolled his eyes talking aloud in Matsujun's mind. The white haired man found a sudden fear in Shi talking. It meant either Hiawai was around... or he was losing control. He hoped it was the first of all things instead of the second. Suddenly a sound hit Matsu's ears causing him to panic a fraction.

"Who's there?" Matsu found his throat sore for one reason or another. Suddenly a feeling of fingers on his face nearly caused the white haired man to recoil even more.

"Hold still," a voice ordered in such a way that caused Matsu to freeze. Suddenly things began to come into focus again, and as the face of the demon lord of twilight appeared, the white haired man all but recoiled yet again. I'm going to be killed.... was the first thought that streamed through Matsu's mind.

"Demon Lord Asa?" Matsu breathed out feeling the pain in his chest again.

"Hey I might be a demon lord but I'm not as cruel as my father." Asa all but laughed back at the white haired man causing still more confusion to grown on his face. Nino... Aiba... where are they... are they here or... Matsu found his eyes moving around trying to find a familiar face. However, suddenly finding that the demon lord seemed to remain staring at him, Matsu froze again.

"It's up to you." Asa sighed outwards.

"Up to me for what?" Matsu found even more confusion. Asa.... Aoi's demon parallel... this... The irony was all but smacking Matsu in the face for one reason or another, yet he could not stop it in the least.

"Demon Lords have the ability to transport people. So it's your choice on what you want to do." Asa answered back. Matsu blinked again. Why... is he helping me.....

"Yet they do not have the right to release each others prisoners," a female voice caused both men to turn and find the face of Hiawai sitting in a chair not far off. The white haired blind woman had been concealing herself for quite some time, yet now both men could see her.

"Moth-" Asa started, however, Hiawai had risen and had her face directed at him as if he could see.

"This has nothing to do with you, Asa. Leave, now," she said crossing her arms. Asa's eyes appeared to grow before the demon lord looked back at Matsu all but apologetically. "Leave Asa," Hiawai ordered again. A sigh wrecked the room as Asa disappeared again.

Hiawai waited... as though knowing the surroundings completely before she turned her head and appeared to all but be staring directly at Matsu. The white haired man felt a chill run through his very being, and Shi was starting to scream within him for control. However, the white haired man resisted as if in pain.

"You would do good to release Shi from your mind," Hiawai's words were calm yet not cold in nature. "Before he tears through your childish being to get out." Matsu winced feeling the beating against his own soul. Shi was yelling out words and things the white haired man refused to repeat in any context.

"N-n-no...." Matsu breathed out again causing the white haired woman to start towards him.

"Shi, your new host appears quite resilient in nature...." Hiawai sighed outwards as she walked towards him. "Nothing I haven't found with souls prepared as vessels before, though." Matsu's eyes grew as the white haired woman suddenly put her hand to his face. "Let Shi out, Matsujun," she smiled at him with the blind staring eyes. "That is your name, correct?"

"No!" Matsu shouted back. "I won't...."

"It's your job as a vessel... why are you resisting what they trained you for?" Hiawai's voice was melodic in nature yet held something all but sinister all together.

Let me out.. let me spring the trap... It's our job..let's take one demon lord down... Shi's voice had started to put the pressure on Matsu's mind as well. Don't pull a Nino, now.

"What do you want from me!" Matsu shouted back trying to pull his head away. However, Hiawai had seized it and forced him to look at her.

"I want to eat your soul, of course," Hiawai answered back. Matsu froze.
