"You want out so bad, then you can just take my body and go!" Emiko shouted, and suddenly something changed. Aoi felt herself suddenly rushing forwards and finding that the space ahead of her was now in the clear. I want out I want out.. I want.... Aoi suddenly broke through.
Suddenly finding herself laying in bed, Aoi let out a breathe feeling the body tense inwards and then out again. I have... full control.... Aoi blinked forcing the body upwards off of the bed feeling the soreness of something... of living... that was the only explanation of it... the soreness of being actually alive. She let out another breath again looking down at pale hands. It's not... my original body... but....
"Guys! It's Emiko! Look!" someone shouted from the hallway causing Aoi to tense and look upwards. She could hear someone coming. No! Not now.... Looking around, Aoi forced herself off the bed only to find the knees under her buckle. Breathing out with her hands on the floor and her knees buckled, Aoi fought to stand upwards. Come on.... come on... The sounds of people heading towards her got louder. I don't want to get caught right now.... Forcing the body upwards, Aoi moved sharply as Elle tried to enter. She was running fast now.. down the hallway and away from those that would have stopped her.
Looking backwards for only a split second, Aoi stared and found the face of Ame. Ame... she thought to herself before shaking her head and forcing herself forwards. Where is Nino... where is Matsu....I have to.... She forced herself to continue running and nearly slammed into a cart in the hallway. The sudden flash of pain in her calf caused Aoi to flinch a moment. It had been years since she had felt pain, and it was a shock out of other things. Resiting the sudden shock tears that tried to fight free, Aoi shook her head, forced herself up again, and started running again. I have no idea... where they are..... but.... Suddenly the pressure of Emiko appearing to brush up against her mind caught Aoi off guard. Stay back.... she thought to herself forcing a barrier over her mind. I won't have control for long but... I have to... I have to....
Suddenly frozen in front of a door, Aoi breathed outwards. It was Matsu's medical room, and with one fluid movement, Aoi took hold of the door and walked inside. "Mats-........." Aoi froze again. Her eyes moved over Matsu who rested peacefully on the pillows and then on Nino who was next to him. Nino's eye seemed to flicker open and stare at the intruder of the room. The dark haired man stared for a full second before slowly getting off the bed and standing upright continuing to stare. Aoi couldn't move. It had been years... and she had no idea what to say or do or even.....
"What are you doing here, Emiko?" Nino's voice was calm in nature as he continued to walk towards her. Aoi found herself step back suddenly... as if unsure she wanted to be there right then and there. The feeling again... of Emiko trying to break and fight for control hit the back of Aoi's mind. She flinched a moment but stared back at the dark haired man as sudden tears started down her face.
"I'm not Emiko...." she said quietly suddenly wrapping her arms around herself. "I'm not Emiko...."
It was Nino's turn to freeze. The dark haired man froze right then and there, and he had no idea what to do. Matsu continued to sleep soundly, and the dark haired man just stared. "Aoi...." he finally sighed.
"I'm sorry...." she whispered. In that spit second, Nino stepped forwards and held her. Just a hug. Nothing more... Yet still....Aoi found herself completely tense for a second. "I'm sorry...I ever left...." she said quietly again.
The dark haired man did nothing but retain the hug. His mind,, however, was jumping every direction at once. Aoi's back... Matsu's alive... Aoi's back Matsu's alive... They're safe... everything's right Aoi's back.. Matsu's alive.... Yet in that second... A doubt settled on Nino.
"She said you were dead..." Aoi cried quietly. "Emiko's thought said you were dead.. I was... scared... I didn't want you to go..." Nino said nothing still. "Because I would be trapped then... I'd be trapped and I have no way out and and...." Aoi was mumbling to herself feeling Emiko's irritation now as she tried to break past the mental barrier.
"I'm not dead," Nino answered back.
In that moment, Aoi looked up and forced a kiss on Nino. The dark haired man froze, and Aoi shivered a fraction. However, in another split second, Nino broke off. "What are you doing... Aoi...." Nino's eyes were dark causing aoi to blink suddenly in confusion.
"I..." Aoi tried.
"Why are you doing this to Emiko? You're the one who asked me to protect her, and what are you doing? Causing more confusion...."
"I'm sorry...." Aoi breathed out. "I'm sorry I'm weak... I'm sorry I don't.. I..." However, Nino brought his finger up and placed it on her lips.
"You shouldn't have taken her body...." Nino sighed outwards. "You're acting like Doki being reckless..." Aoi's eyes grew and suddenly filled with tears again.
"I'm not a vessel spirit!" she sudden cried. "It's not my fault!"
"You are one," Nino said darkly back causing Aoi to tear away and back up a fraction.
"I never asked to be one... I never asked for it...." she repeated over again feeling once more Emiko all but breaking the barrier she had set in the mind. Stay back... Stay back....I'm sorry... just stay back....
"Emiko has the right to live," Nino sighed outwards.
"And I don't?" Aoi suddenly shot back.
Nino froze as his own eyes grew. "I robbed you of it...." Nino answered back, and for the first time, Aoi saw the sudden tears in Nino's own eyes. "You must give Emiko back her life.... or you'll just be acting like me..." he sighed outwards. "Robbing someone else's life...."
Aoi backed up again with her eyes still wide. Emiko was all but yelling in her mind now.
"I want to live! I want it!" Emiko's voice was shouting, and for the first time, Aoi could hear the words clearly. She had managed to keep the girl at bay.... keep her from seeing her own actions.. of what she had done... of what Nino had said... yet everything was breaking around her as Emiko fought to get out. "This isn't yours! It's mine! Aoi give it back!" Emiko shouted. "Please... I want..."
Aoi appeared before Emiko staring at the girl with red hair. Aoi's face was calm now.. but in pain... She sighed outwards and looked back. "I wanted to see him....." she sighed. "Is it wrong?"
"Don't even..I didn't mean... I mean...." Emiko tried as if trying to find her wording.
"You handed it over... even when I was just so... You gave me control..." Aoi started. "You were acting so weak... you didn't even know how much..." She shook her head.
"So you thought it was ok to just..." Emiko started stopped when she found that Aoi was staring back at the edge of bursting into crying again. "What...."
"And you know what he said?" Aoi all but sobbed now. "He said... that it's not right of me... to take what's not mine.... and...." Aoi looked away not saying anything more. "And..."A calmness overtook Aoi asshe sighed a bit. "I... understand...We... were both wrong, Emiko...I for taking what wasn't mine...and you for thinking that you were nothing to anyone.."
For the first time, a link appeared to open between the two women.. Aoi felt everything Emiko had... her thoughts... her fears... her wants...And just the same the link worked in the opposite direction reflecting everything Aoi was back at Emiko. Both woman stared at each other unsure of what to say or do. Finally Aoi let out a breath.
"I'm sorry...." she cried a fraction suddenly disappearing. "I don't expect you to forgive me... Emiko... but I expect you to understand what you would go to... to make sure the one person you wanted in the entire world to see....was there..."
Emiko appeared to stare off into the nothingness and slowly gain back her own body.

Nino's entire body was shaking, and as Emiko's form seemed to back up and all but go limp, the dark haired man dove to catch her again. He said nothing but could feel Aoi's presence leaving again slowly giving Emiko back her state of things. The red haired girl opened her eyes and suddenly stared at the dark haired man who blinked a fraction finding it extremely hard not to just drop her and act as though nothing had happened. After a minute, Nino released Emiko and turned around to find that Matsu was still asleep.
The dark haired man bit the front of his lip and stared out the window. Suddenly the sounds of rushing feet hit the ears of those that were awake in the room. Nino didn't turn even as Aiba, Ame, Ohno, and Elle seemed to appear in the doorway staring inwards. "Well we found her..." Elle said somewhat dumbfounded as she stared at Emiko who was now forcing herself up against a wall.
"Not in the room we expected oh ho ho...." Ohno laughed a fraction only to be elbowed sharply by Ame and silenced once more.
