Aisling walked around the hall, what her parents had told her kept going through her mind. Collecting Earth Spirits as if they're only things...how terrible but they acted like that wasn't the main reason they cut him out of the family. Aisling looked at Puck, the fairy was flying a few feet from her and looked lost in thought as well. But whatever he was thinking wasn't pleasant as he glared ahead of him and chew on his finger nails. The red head sighed and said, "Puck?"
Puck blinked and looked down at her, "Huh...yeah?"
"What did my uncle do? He 'collected' earth spirits but da acted like there's more to it. What is it?"
The fairy stared at her and shook his head, "It's nothing...he's just a creep and if I see him again I'll create a tornado, carry him off and dump the slim ball into the nearest active volcano!" Aisling stared at him in shock; he's serious?! I never knew Puck to hate someone so much. But it made sense why Puck hated him because of what Merrick did to Earth Spirits but could there be more behind it?
"What do you think will happen when mum and da meet him?" Aisling asked Puck.
"I hope Mr. Alvey punches him in the gut and kick his balls!" Puck roared causing Aisling to jump.
"But...my uncle is a summoner so that means he's dangerous."
"Your parents are summoners too."
"WHAT?!"
"Yeah well they used to be top notch summoners but they settled down after having you."
"Really...?" Aisling said unsure if her parents have real spiritual powers. She knew they could see ghosts and Earth Spirits. But there was that time when an evil spirit appeared and Aisling was knocked out. When she woke the spirit was gone but Aisling thought she saw some kind of spirit creature standing next to her father.
How come they never tell me? Or maybe I didn't realize...
"So I'm saying don't worry," Puck said flying ahead of Aisling. "Your folks are tough I'm sure they can handle that snake Merrick." Aisling frowned when she felt that bad feeling again but nodded and smiled, "Yeah you're probable right."
"Hey! How about we practice flying again?"
"Umm...but I'll be seen,"
"You can turn invisible just summon-"
Puck was cut off by the sounds of screaming. "What the-?!" Puck jumped and zoomed in the air. "Oh man...did they forget to knock out a poor guy and they cut him up anyway???"
Aisling eyes widen. She sensed Aiba's presence down the hall. She moved in an almost running pace with Puck following her. "Hey? Where are you going?"
"That was Aiba screaming."
"Aiba? The summoner shaman?"
Aisling stopped at the room where she remember Aiba was staying. A few nurses where in there and waited until they left. When they left Aisling was about to go in when one of the nurses stopped her.
"Wait are you allowed out of bed?"
"Uh..." Aisling said nervously. "Yes they let me go but I can't go outside," She told the nurse. She sensed the woman's emotions they weren't strong or negative but Aisling felt awkward, she wasn't used to sensing living people's emotions.
"I wanted to check on Aiba he's uh,my..." Would they allow her to see him if she wasn't family?
"Boyfriend," Puck whispered in Aisling's ear.
"Boyfriend," Aisling said before she thought about what she was saying. She blinked, wait a minute? What did I just say????
The nurse blinked, "Oh I see aw how cute." The woman said smiling.
Aisling flushed bright red and her face almost match her hair color. "What...I didn't mean!" The nurse looked at her confused and Aisling turned her face away and held her cheeks in her hands. Aw man how embarrassing! I can't believe I said that! She glared at Puck who was way out of reach and he grinned cheekily at her. YOU-ARE-SO-DEAD!
"There's no need to be embarrassed honey," The nurse told her smiling. "Something is bothering him and I think it's something personal. He won't talk to us so he might open up to you."
Aisling blinked at her,"Uh..."
"Okay then I'll let you see him," The nurse said opening the door.
"Wha...wait..." Aisling babbled waving her hands frantically her nerves didn't allow her to speak properly. Puck snickered and Aisling tried to swat him.
"Excuse me but you have a visitor," The nurse said to Aiba. Aisling peered around the nurse and saw Aiba sitting up in bed. He looked upset and scared. Aisling sensed his emotions and she couldn't ignore them this time. He was in pain and she felt like she had to help him in someway.
Aisling poked her head into the room and said, "Hey Aiba it's me."
